Good morning everyone, today I'm very happy to be a guest designer for Try It On Tuesday, the theme for their latest challenge is Trick Or Treat/Halloween.
I've made an art journal page.
I covered a page in my Dina Wakley journal with a sheet of Gecko Galz background paper and then I painted the edges with white paint. I printed a mixture of Gecko Galz and Mischief Circus images, cut them out and adhered them to the page, I added a little colour to some of the images with coloured pencils. The red moon's made of tissue paper. I used a Sizzix die for the crow and branch, for the cat and flying witch I used Cherry Pie Art stamps, the spider and cobweb are Inkadinkado stamps and the sentiment is a Tim Holtz stamp, I wrote Trick Or Treat on the roof. The image with the horns was just a head and shoulders so I used a silver Gelato to make him look like he had a ghostly body.
Thank you for dropping by to take a look, why not pop over to Try It On Tuesday to see the inspirational pieces that the design team have made. xxx

SPA - Hats
Good morning everyone, I hope you all had a good weekend.
Hats or Headpieces is this weeks theme for the Sunday Postcard Art challenge.
I used alcohol ink on the background, for the white skull I used a stencil and some alcohol blending solution. The web, spider and words were stamped directly on the card. I coloured some white card with brimstone wings Color Bloom spray and stamped the skulls, I cut them out and glued them to the card. I stamped the hat and bow tie and embossed them with a purple glitter embossing powder, you can't see the glitter on the photo.
Stamps
Stamp Addicts - skulls, hat and bow tie.
Inkadinkado - spider and web.
Graphic 45 - words.

UK Stampers - Inchies
Hi everybody, not been a very good week, on Monday we found out that Josh our dog is very ill - going to a specialist clinic tomorrow and on Thursday we said goodbye to Chandler our lovely cat, she had a good life and reached the grand old age of 20 - will miss her lots.
Today I'm sharing the inchies that I made for the UK Stampers July swap.
I used scraps of inked card and they were all stamped with Inkadinkado stamps except the mermaid, not sure what make of stamp she is.

Inchies
Good morning everybody, first I would like to welcome my new followers Kate, Janice, Jackie, Petrina, Elke and Soozyb, thank you for following me, I hope you enjoy looking at my projects.
I haven't done much crafting or blogging for a while, at the beginning of the year I decided to sort out my craft room as it was a bit of a mess - it still is a mess but I've decided to have a little break from it. I'm going through everything and have got rid of a lot of stuff that I haven't used for a while and never will, you can imagine how much stuff I have after over 20 years of paper crafting.
Today I'm sharing with you some inchies that I made for the UK Stampers April inchie swap.
All the inchies were made from scrap card and stamped with Inkadinkado inchie stamps.

Friday The 13th
Good morning everybody, I hope you are all well. Before I show you my latest postcard I would like to apologize for not leaving comments on your posts. My husband has not been very well this year and we're backwards and forwards to the hospital as he's having lots of tests done. We're very fortunate that we live close to the hospital but I find it all very tiring. I've managed to make a couple of postcards and some cards this week that I can blog and I hope to be back commenting soon.
I've made this postcard for the That's Crafty Friday The 13th challenge.
I used a gelli print for the background and stamped the skull with Versamark and embossed it with white powder. I masked the skull and stamped some spider webs and added some splatters. The quote was stamped onto tissue paper and glued to the card, I removed the mask and stamped the spiders. I embossed the edges with Cosmic Shimmer Ultra Thick powder.
The stamps I used are,
Stampers Anonymous - Skull and background.
Inkadinkado - Spiders.
PaperArtsy - Quote.

G Is For Giraffe
G is the latest letter in the Craft Barns Alpha/Dictionary challenge. I've chosen the word giraffe.
I used distress inks for the background and stamped some leaves and grass. I coloured them with pencil. I stamped the giraffe onto copy paper and coloured it with pencil, then I cut it out and glued it to my postcard. I added the letter G and the dictionary reference. I used PaperArtsy stamps for the background and the giraffe is an Inkadinkadoo stamp.

Halloween Postcards
Halloween is the latest theme for the Sunday Postcard Art challenge.
I have a couple of postcards for Halloween and my Web postcard that I never got round to posting last week.
I started by covering my postcard with strips of gauze and then I put some acrylic paint at the top, sprayed it with water and let the paint run down the card. When the card had dried I used some modelling paste with a skull stencil. When the paste dried I went over it with white paint. I squirted some orange stickles over the card. The wooden bats were coloured black and covered with distress stickles and I added some red gems for their eyes.
The stickles can be seen a bit better in this photo.
I used a Gelli print for the background of this postcard and stamped the hearts. The two zombies [Octopode Factory stamps] were stamped onto white card, coloured with felt tips and cut out, I also stamped and cut out the label.
This was my postcard that I never got round to posting for last weeks challenge. I painted the background with acrylic paint and stamped Inkadinkado stamps over it. I made the web with a Quickcutz die. The spider was stamped, painted black and cut out.

Butterfly Journal Page
Last week my friend Alison came to play, we had a great day playing with our Gelli Plates and we both ended up with loads of lovely prints.
I've used one of them on my journal page.
My print wasn't big enough to cover the pages so I painted the edge of the pages with Acrylic paint, tore round the print and glued it to the pages. I used Kaisercraft, Inkadinkado and Stampendous stamps on the background and I used Versamagic chalk ink. The butterflies [Stampendous stamp and cutting dies] were stamped onto cream card, cut out and glued to the pages with Mod Podge, I also spread the Mod Podge over the butterflies so that I could colour them with Faber Castell Pitt artist pens. Spreading the glue over the images and letting it dry meant that I could colour with the pens and spread the ink with my finger before it dried. I uesd an Artistic Stamper stamp for the quote.
I'm sharing my pages with Art Journal Journey their theme this month is Time.

Documented Life Project - Week 3
I'm already falling behind with the Documented Life Project, I've just finished week 3 and were already on week 5. The prompt for the challenge was The Colour Wheel, it took me ages to decide what to do, I remembered that I'd bought an Inkadinkado Stamping Gear last year so decided to use it. I think I need a bit more practice with it as the flowers are not spaced as well as I thought they would.
These are my finished pages.
I spread gesso on the pages and when dry I brushed them with primary yellow, primary cian and primary magenta DecoArt Media paint
Then I scrapped white paint over the pages.
I used the stamping gear on the pages and started to colour the images with felt tips but they didn't stand out very well so I ended up stamping them on to card, colouring them with felt tips and fussy cutting them. After glueing them to the page I covered them with a DecoArt crackle glaze. The red and oringe flowers look the same colour but in real life you can tell the difference.
A close up of the crackle.
On the background I also stamped some white circles and scribbled in them, I also used a PaperArtsy dotty stamp with black ink.

Birdie ATCs
Good morning everyone, I hope you're having a lovely weekend, I had a fabulous day yesterday at a Mini Album workshop at the Craft Barn.
I'd like to share with you some Bird ATCs that I've made during the year.
I used a mono print background and stamped the hessian [Indigo Blu] and the branch [Inkadinkado]. Shabby pink Frantage was added to the card and I stamped the postmark [TJ Designs]. I stamped the bird [Lost Coast Design] onto a separate piece of card and cut it out.
I used Dylusions ink on the background and stamped the Inkadinkado branch. The Dina Wakley scribble bird was stamped onto a separate piece of card and cut out.
The background on this ATC is weaved pieces of handmade paper. The Sheena Douglas stamps were stamped onto white card and watercoloured and then cut out.
The background was made with Distress inks. The main image is by Crafty Individuals.

Halloween Journal Page
Today I'd like to share with you my Halloween journal page - I had great fun making it.
I'm linking it to the following challenges
Artist Trading Post - Halloween.
That's Crafty - Spooky.
Order Of The Opus Gluei - Ghostly Goings On.
Make My Monday - Halloween.
Haunted Design House - Hellacious Halloween.
I started by painting the page with gesso and then I used an Andy Skinner skull mask with some modelling paste. When everything had dried I sprayed it with different colours of Dylusion ink. I used an orange Zig felt tip pen to make some flames at the bottom of the page. The bats and web were stamped straight onto the page, all the other images were stamped onto tissue paper and glued to the page. I made a wash with black acrylic paint and water and painted it over the skull, when I mopped up some of the wash it took some of the inks away and I rather like the effect it had on the skull.
The stamps I used are
Stampotique - the spider.
Inkadinkado - the two graves at the bottom of the page, on says "I'll be back" and the other one says "Holy smoke, it's hot down here.
Cherry Pie Art Stamps - bats, skeletons, gravestones,

Deep In The Forest
Good morning, I hope you all had a lovely weekend.
I'd like to share a journal page with you today, I haven't done much journaling and am always amazed at all the wonderful pages that people do.
I've made my pages for the Art Journal Journey challenge, the theme is Deep In The Forest.
I started of by covering the pages with gesso and stamped some leaves with archival ink. Earlier in the day I collected some fallen leaves and Sycamore seeds and using lots of glue adhered them to the pages then I covered the leaves with tissue paper.
I painted the pages with lot of different green inks and some orange and red on the leaves, the leaves were given a final coat of gold Acrylic Artists Ink.
I stamped lots of animals onto tissue paper and coloured them on the back with acrylic paint and adhered them to the pages, the badger had two coats of white but some of the green ink came still came through.

Inchie ATCs
I'd like to share with you today some ATCs that I made earlier in the year. They were for an inchie swap at Paperplay.
I used stampboard for all the inchies.
For this ATC I use a mono print and stamped some swirls. The stamp I used for the image is an Inkadinkado stamp coloured with distress ink.
Again I used a mono print and stamped some paw prints [Craft UK] with gesso. The main image is an Inkadinkado stamp and the meow is andother Craft UK
The background for this ATC was made using acrylic paint on an acrylic block. The main image is and Inkadinkado stamp and the sentiment is a Paperartsy stamp.
Have a lovely weekend everyone and I hope you're having better weather than I'm having here.

A CAS Card For Autumn
I have a CAS card to share with you today, I've made a few CAS cards now and still find them difficult to do.
I first stamped the image [Inkadinkado stamp] and then masked the card leaving a strip that I coloured with Distress Ink. I then drew black lines along the edge of the strip of colour.
I'd like to enter the card in the following challenges.
One Layer Simplicity Challenge - Turning To Fall.
That's Crafty Challenge - Keep It Simple.
Less Is More - Autumns Bounty.
Pan Pastel - Autumn

Hip To Be Square
This months theme at the One - Layer Simplicity Challenge is Hip To Be Square and I've made my first Christmas card of the year for the challenge.
I stamped the squares and then masked them before stamping the poinsettia and colouring it with watercolour pencils.
The stamps I used are
Rubbadubbado for the squares.
Joanna Sheen for the poinsettia.
Inkadinkado for the sentiment.
This is another CAS card that I've made. I'm not very keen on this card as I stamped the image onto pearl card and I don't like pearl card very much, the image didn't stamp very clearly.
The stamp is an Elusive Images/Chocolate Baroque one and I stamped it with black soot distress ink and embossed it with clear powder. I watercoloured it with distress inks.

Reverse Masking
One of the challenges at KCUK last month was reverse masking, these are the two cards that I made for the challenge.
I have a lot of aperture cards that I never use so for both cards I've used the apertures for my mask.
I sponged distress inks through the mask and then flicked water on it. After removing the mask I stamped the lovely Inkadinkado cat and drew a shadow at the bottom of the image to ground it. I stamped the Artistic Stamper sentiment.
This card was done exactly the same way minus the flicked water.
The trees are an Inkadinkado stamp, I've no idea who made the dream stamp.
