Craft-Room Challenge - 3D
Good morning all, it's time for another Craft-Room Challenge and it's the lovely Christi's turn to choose the theme, she has chosen 3D. You can create anything as long as there's a 3D element on it.
Our sponsor this time around is Tando Creative.

Our sponsor this time around is Tando Creative.

For my DT piece I've made three 3D decoupaged Christmas cards. I use to do a lot of 3D decoupage years ago and it made a nice change to to do some again.
I've shown the front and side view of the cards, the side view is to show the layers. My photos aren't very good as the light wasn't very good when I took them.
There's not a lot to say about the cards - I cut out all the bits and used silicone glue to adhere them to the card.
The rest of the DT have made some great samples and would love you to visit the Craft-Room to take a look

Less Is More - Newsprint
Was just finishing this card yesterday when the two RAF jets flew through the sound barrier intercepting the Latvian cargo plane - it was very loud and a good job I'd finished with the scissors.
This weeks challenge at Less Is More is to use newsprint.
I've made a Christmas card using my favorite Christmas stamp [PSX], I've had it for years and always manage to use it every Christmas.
I stamped the script [stamp unknown] with festive berries and forest moss distress ink.
I stamped and embossed the image onto a book page, cut it out and adhered it to the card, then I added some gold beads, narrow ribbon and stamped the greeting.

Let It Snow
I've made a Christmas card for the October challenge at Crafty Individuals, the theme is Halloween Madness or Christmas Frenzy.
I started by spraying a piece of patterned paper from my stash with some silver Spray and Sparkle.
I distressed the edges and coloured with walnut stain distress ink.
I added some seam binding that had been coloured with peacock feathers distress ink and a punched snowflake strip [Martha Stewart].
The two images [Crafty Individuals] were stamped onto white card and embossed with black embossing powder, I edged them with peacock feathers and vintage photo distress ink
I added a large die cut snowflake [Tattered Lace] and three wooden snowflakes that I'd embossed with some white silver sparkle [All Night Media] embossing powder.
Here is a close up showing the sparkle on the background paper.

Ten Minute Card
Hi everyone, before I show you my card I'd like to welcome my newest followers, it's lovely to have you join me.
Chrissie from Jumbled Crafts put a link in one of her posts for the The Speed Craft Challenge. You are given a theme and you have to make something in ten minutes or under, for the latest challenge the theme is Ink Sprays or Spritzers so I thought I'd have a go.
To save time I got all my supplies ready.
Then I put the timer on. I sprayed the inks onto my craft mat with some water and smooshed a piece of card through it and dried it with a heat gun, then I stamped the images with Versamark ink and embossed with white embossing powder. I just managed to adhere it to a card blank when the timer went. The thing that took the longest was having to use the heat gun to dry the card and do the embossing.
This is the result after ten minutes.
I think I prefer it with out the snowflakes.

Less Is More - Two Of Something
At Less Is More this week they want to see two of something on our cards, so I've made a Christmas card with two baubles on it.
I stamped the small bauble and masked it before stamping the larger bauble. I painted the baubles with Fresco Finish Paints and stamped the snowflakes and sentiment.
The stamps are Paperartsty/Jofy for the baubles and snowflakes and the sentiment is an Inkadinkado stamp.

Sparkle and Shine
Good morning. I've a Christmas card to share with you today and I'd like to link it to the following challenges.
Make My Monday - Die Cuts and Punches.
Country View Challenges - Sparkle and Shine.
The dies that I used are
Die'sire - This is a 6" square die that I used on the front of the card, it also embosses.
Tattered Lace for the snowflakes.
Tonic for the sentiment.
I used some silver paper behind the aperture and covered the snowflakes with stickles.
This photo shows the sparkle a bit better.

Hip To Be Square
This months theme at the One - Layer Simplicity Challenge is Hip To Be Square and I've made my first Christmas card of the year for the challenge.
I stamped the squares and then masked them before stamping the poinsettia and colouring it with watercolour pencils.
The stamps I used are
Rubbadubbado for the squares.
Joanna Sheen for the poinsettia.
Inkadinkado for the sentiment.
This is another CAS card that I've made. I'm not very keen on this card as I stamped the image onto pearl card and I don't like pearl card very much, the image didn't stamp very clearly.
The stamp is an Elusive Images/Chocolate Baroque one and I stamped it with black soot distress ink and embossed it with clear powder. I watercoloured it with distress inks.

A Vintage Christmas
It's time for another Craft-Room Challenge, Mervi is the hostess and as Christmas is only a month away she would like to see some vintage style Christmas cards or presents.

Our sponsor for the challenge is Rogue Redhead.

I've made a card for my DT piece.
I wrapped some ribbon round some Gecko Galz holly background paper and adhered it to a card blank. The image was stamped with walnut stain Distress ink and adhered to a square doily. The holly leaves were covered with Ice Stickles before I put them on the card, then I added some red beads. I adhered some die cut icicles and covered then with the stickles, I also put some stickles on the image.
Items used
Personal Impressions - the stamped image.
Sizzix Holly Branch die.
Marianne Designs Icicle die.
The rest of the design team have made some fabulous samples and would love you to visit the Craft-Room Challenge to take a look.

Snow
I thought I'd join in with the first ever challenge at Addicted to CAS. For the challenge there is a code word and the word is SNOW.
I embossed the snowmen with a Craft-Too embossing folder, then I went over the raised areas with some stormy sky Distress ink and some ice stickles - although the glitter doesn't show up very well on the photo'. I added some ribbon and a peel off Merry Christmas.
I'm also going to enter my card in the
Challenge Up Your Life 1st Snow Challenge.

For this card I used GG Tis the Season background paper and an image from the GG Wintertime collage sheet. I matted the background paper and image onto gold and red card and adhered them to a red card blank. I added some ribbon and a gold snowflake border that I'd made with a Martha Stewart punch.
The image I used is from the GG Vintage Christmas digi set. I cut the image out with a Spellbinders circle die then I layered this onto black and white card. I embellished the card with ribbon, snowflakes, black gems and a merry Christmas peel off.
I used GG Silent Night background paper and the image is from the GG Old Fashioned Christmas collage sheet and I also used a tag from the Christmas Tags sheet. I used Spellbinders scalloped circle dies to cut out the image and gold and red card. I also used holly leaves, red gems, ribbon and gold border peel off.
I'm entering my card into the Out of a Hat Creations Christmas Card/Tag challenge.

A Couple of Christmas Cards
Here are a couple of Christmas cards that I've made for GECKO GALZ.
The image that I've used is from the Winter Wonderland collage sheet.
I started by edging a white card blank with some blue ink and then I adhered some paper from my stash and I covered this with some angel hair. I matted the image on to some white card and coloured the edge with blue ink then attached it to the card. I cut some snowflakes out of some glitter card using a Martha Stewart punch and attached them to the card then I added the greetings and some ribbon.
For this card I used an image from the Angels collage sheet and Unchainedmelody background paper.
I adhered the background paper to a card blank and edged it and the image with some gold foil. I adhered a couple of cupcake cases to the card and attached the image after matting it onto some red card. I then attached the greetings and a piece of gold mesh.

Snowflake Card
This is my latest DT piece for CREATIVE EXPRESSIONS using the Stylish Christmas stamp set.
I stamped the scrolls four times onto a piece of white card with Versamark and embossed with white embossing powder, then I brayered over it with faded jeans Distress ink then cut it into a square and matted it onto some white glitter card. I brayered a white card blank with faded jeans then stamped the scrolls round the edge with the same ink. I adhered a piece of silver mesh across the middle then cut a couple of snowflake strips out of white glitter card with a Martha Stewart punch. I attached the square to the card and added a wooden snowflake. I'd embossed the wooden snowflake with a white glittery embossing powder before attaching it to the card.

Favorite Colour.
First of all I would like to say a big hello to all my followers and welcome my new followers. I really do appreciate you liking my work enough to follow me and I enjoy reading all your comments.
I've not felt like crafting or blogging for a few days because of a nasty little bug that sent me to my sick bed, but I'm feeling a lot better now apart from a cough and bunged up nose. I'm very behind with leaving comments on blogs but I hope to try and catch up some time this week.
For the challenge at JUST FOR FUN this week we have to use our favorite colour, so my card has to be green. Last week my Winter Distress inks arrived from the Craft Room so I used the colour evergreen bough to colour a piece of card using the direct to paper technique, then I stamped the trees with iced spruce, I distressed the edges before attaching it to a white card blank. I stamped the robin onto some of the coloured card and cut it out using a Spellbinders die, I matted it onto some white card that had also been cut out with a Spellbinders die. I attached it to the card with some gold ribbon so that it dangled. I stamped the greetings and added a snowflake charm.
The stamps that I used are
Artimio for the trees.
Andy Skinner for the robin.

White and Silver Christmas Card
Here is my latest DT card for CREATIVE EXPRESSIONS using the Stylish Christmas stamp set designed by Sam Poole.
This is a very straightforward card to make. I stamped the flourishes round the edges of a white card blank with VersaMark and embossed them with silver embossing powder. I embossed some silver card in a snowflake embossing folder then matted it onto some blue card, then I tied some ribbon round it and adhered it to the card blank. The robin was stamped onto white card and embossed with silver. I attached it to some blue card with brads then adhered it to the card blank. The greeting was stamped and embossed with silver and cut out with a Spellbinders die and then matted onto some blue card, this was attached to the ribbon.

Merry Christmas Card
This is my latest DT piece for CREATIVE EXPRESSIONS using the Stylish Christmas 1 stamp set.
I started by colouring the edges of a white card blank with fired brick Distress ink, then I tied a piece of red ribbon round some glitter card and attached it to the card blank. I stamped the flourishes onto white card with olive and crimson Archival ink then embossed it with a dotty Cuttlebug embossing folder, this was then matted onto some red card and attached to the glitter card. I used my Cricut to cut the red and white labels, I stamped the Merry Christmas with the crimson ink onto the white label and matted it onto the red label, then I covered it with stickles and attached it to the card when it had dried. The poinsettia was made with the Spellbinders layered poinsettia dies, I attached it to the card and added some gold beads.

Creative Expressions Card
I received a fabulous set of stamps from CREATIVE EXPRESSIONS a couple of days ago, it's a new set of Christmas stamps designed by Sam Poole called Stylish Christmas 1.
This is my first DT piece with them.
I started of with a white card blank and stamped the flourishes round the edge with fired brick Distress ink then went round the edge with brushed corduroy Distress ink. I swiped some fired brick over some corrugated card then spread some stickles over it and tied some raffia round it, then attached it to the card. I stamped the robin onto some white card with brushed corduroy, then distressed the edges and coloured them with brushed corduroy then stamped NOEL with fired brick. I coloured the robin's breast with a red pencil and added some stickles. I made the poinsettia with red card and the Spellbinders layered poinsettia die. I covered them with stickles and added some gold beads.

Creative Expressions Christmas Cards
For my CREATIVE EXPRESSIONS DT piece this week I decided to make a Christmas card.
I started of with a piece of black and white dotty paper and die cut the edges with Martha Stewart punches, I attached it to a white card blank. I stamped the trumpets and masked them before stamping the music, then I tore the edges. I stamped the carol singers and sentiment onto white card and then cut them out using the Spellbinders small labels set of dies. I wrapped a piece of music ribbon round the music and attached the sentiment, then I attached it and the carol singers to the card. I put a little bit of glitter glue to the images and added some of the snowflakes that were left from when I die cut the edges.
The Creative Expressions stamp sets that I used are
Partridge In a Pear Tree set for the trumpets and music.
Vintage Christmas set for the carol singers and sentiment.
Here is another Christmas card.
I started of with a fancy edged card blank and edged it with teal ink then I attached a piece of background paper from my stash. I stamped the image and sentiment onto turquoise card and embossed it using white embossing powder that has some glitter in it. I distressed the edges and coloured them with the teal ink. I wrapped some turquoise ribbon round the top and then tied a piece of silver mesh around it. I added some die cut snowflakes that I'd covered with stickles, not sure if I should have put them on.
The stamps are from the Winter Wonderland set.
