I thought I'd join in with the first ever challenge at Addicted to CAS. For the challenge there is a code word and the word is SNOW.
I embossed the snowmen with a Craft-Too embossing folder, then I went over the raised areas with some stormy sky Distress ink and some ice stickles - although the glitter doesn't show up very well on the photo'. I added some ribbon and a peel off Merry Christmas.
I'm also going to enter my card in the
Challenge Up Your Life 1st Snow Challenge.

Textures
Firstly I'd like to say a big HELLO and THANK YOU to all my new followers - I hope you enjoy looking at my work and I hope that some of it might inspire you.
The theme for the October ATC swap at the UK Stampers is textures.
I used ribbed Kraft card for the base and then embossed some Core'dinations Kraft-Core card. I sanded the raised area to show the core and went over it lightly with some rusty hinge Distress ink. I wrapped some thin string round it and tied a leaf charm to it before adhering it to the base card. I stamped the images onto white card, tore them out and coloured them with peacock feathers, vintage photo and rusty hinge Distress ink and adhered them to the ATC.
I used the Stampers Anonymous Mini Blueprint stamps.
I'm entering my ATCs in the following challenges.
The Artistic Stamper The Natural World Challenge.
Challenge Up Your Life Autumn/Halloween Challenge.
Sweet Stampin' Autumn Trees/Leaves Challenge.

Emboss It
It's Esthers turn to choose the theme for the latest Craft Room Challenge and she has chosen Embossing. This can be heat embossing or dry embossing or you could use embossing paste.
Stamp Addicts are the sponsors for the challenge.
I was going through my embossing folders to find one to make a card and came across a set of Tim Holtz ATC size folders so my card became ATCs.
For the background I used card that I'd inked a while ago and can't remember what inks I used. After embossing the ATCs I went over the raised images with vintage photo Distress ink and then I went over this with a Versamark pen and heat embossed them with clear embossing powder. I used 7 Gypsies and Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous stamps on the background.
This is a side view to show the clear embossing.
I'm entering my ATC in the Fashionable Stamping Challenge whose theme is Embossing.
I'm looking forward to seeing your Embossed creations and I hope you all visit the Craft Room Challenge Blog to see the wonderful creations that the rest of the DT team have done.

Coca Cola Hanging
This is my latest DT piece for GECKO GALZ. I used images from the Cola Wars Ephemera sheet and the Bridge Club background paper.
I printed the images and background onto card and embossed the background with a Creative Expressions brick embossing folder, I had to do two and join them together, I used vintage photo Distress Ink on the bricks to make them stand out more. I distressed the edges and attached it to a piece of black corrugated card. I distressed the edges of the images and matted them onto black card and attached them to the background. I made the flowers from Coca Cola cans using a Spellbinders flower die to cut them out. I sanded the surface to take of some of the shine and then shaped the petals. For the centre of the flowers I attached the small coke bottle images to the insides of some bottle caps and smothered them with Glossy Accents. I attached the chain and a with couple of small flowers and brads.

Paris Postcard
Here is my latest DT piece for CREATIVE EXPRESSIONS using the Spellbinders JustRite stamp sheet, it should have been posted last week but life is still getting in the way of crafting and blogging.
I started by colouring a piece of card with milled lavender distress ink then I embossed it with a Tim Holtz Alterations embossing folder. I went over the raised areas and edges with scattered straw and walnut stain distress ink. All the images have been stamped with walnut stain, the two main images were stamped onto card that had been diecut with a Spellbindes die. I wrapped ribbon round the images and added a stamped fleur de lis to one and an Eiffel Tower charm to the other and I tied some ribbon along the fold.

Graffiti Card
This is my latest DT piece for CREATIVE EXPRESSIONS using the Vintage Typewriter stamp set, I also used a Creative Expressions embossing folder.
I started of with a white piece of card and coloured it with frayed burlap Distress Ink then I splatted Distress Stain over the card, the colours I used are faded jeans, fired brick and wild honey. I then stamped various images from the stamp set and did a bit of doodling, then I cut the card to the size I wanted and embossed it. Before attaching it to a card blank I went over the bricks with rusty hinge Distress Ink and attached a ribbon. I stamped the typewriter keys onto white card and punched out the letters that I wanted, adhered them to the card and put some Glossy Accents on the top. The last thing I did was to make a paperclip flower.

Less is More
I've made this card for the Less is More challenge. This week the sentiment has to be the focus.
The stamp I've used is The Secret Garden by B Line Designs. I coloured the flowers with watercolour pencils and a water brush, then I embossed the front of the card with a Cuttlebug folder and added a ribbon.

Cherry Ripe
I made this card for the Bella Muse challenge on Bella Creations.
We were given the image to use on whatever we wanted, I decided to make a card. The background paper is a freebie from the Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine, I've had it for a long time, knew it would come in useful one day. I attached it to a brown pearl card blank. I put a strip of turquoise card across the middle with a strip of some free paper. Using the same colour card as the card blank I used a Spellbinder die for the border and a Marianne die for the flourish. I stamped some cherries onto white card and coloured them with Promarkers, then I cut them out and double embossed them with some clear embossing powder to make them glossy then I attached them to the card. The sentiment is a sticker from my stash. The last thing I did was to put some sticky backed red gems along the border.
Stamps used.
Personal Impressions for the cherries.
