UK Stampers have started to do a monthly Gothic Arch challenge, the theme for the first challenge is Things With Wings.
I used a Marianne Design embossing folder for the background and coloured it with distress inks. I put a strip of Dylusions tape along the bottom. I used black card and a Sizzix die for the cat. The butterflies were stamped and punched out with a Martha Stewart stamp and die and I used a Finnabair word stamp.
Thank you for dropping by to take a look. xxx

An 8" x 8" layout. I used a Martha Stewart border punch for the lacy edges, a Marianne Design die for the flourishes. The hat was cut using my Cricut machine and the Paper Doll Dress Up cartridge. I handmade the flowers and then added lace and some pearls to the side and to the hat.
A New Years card. The clock is a Tim Holtz Sizziz/Alterations die. I stamped and embossed the fireworks in the background using different coloured embossing powders that had glitter in it.
An altered notebook. I covered the book with a patterned paper and I also covered a card frame with a coordinating paper. I went round the edges with dusty concord Distress ink and stamped the flourishes in the corners of the cover with a Creative Expressions stamp and dusty concord Distress ink. I embellished it with lace, ribbon, flowers and metal corners.
I hope you enjoy the hop and I wish you all Good Luck.

This is my latest Gecko Galz DT piece.
To do this 8" x 8" layout I used an image from the Little Darlings Ephemera sheet and the Chalkboard Sentiment background paper.
The pink card and patterned paper is from my stash. I used a Marianne Designs die for the green flourishes
The sentiment is stamped using a Hobby Art stamp and the corner flourishes are done using a Stamp Bug stamp. The flowers and embellishments are from my stash. I think I've put two too many flowers on it.

Painting the Rosed Red
They're painting the roses red at the ALTERED ALICE this month so paint has to be used somewhere on projects. The paint I've used is red Pergamano Pintura.
I wasn't sure what I was going to do until I saw that one of the Dover Publications freebies last week was a page from a children's Alice colouring and puzzle book, the maze was just what I wanted so I made this easel card.
I coloured the maze with Promarkers and used the paint on the roses and card men then attached it to the easel card that I'd covered with spotty paper. I made the roses with torn red paper that had a white core so I used the paint to get rid of this but left a little bit of the white showing. I attached some die cut leaves and the roses to the card. The rose bottom right has been made with an Artistic Stamper stamp that I decided to leave white. I rounded the corners of some small playing cards then attached them to the card base, the last thing that I did was to paint some splats on the cards.
For the leaves I used Marianne Design and Tim Holtz Sizzix Alterations dies.
Here is a close up of the white flower.

Material Girl
I've made this hanging for the Just For Fun challenge, the theme this week is fabric and/or fibres. I stamped the image onto a piece of fabric and then attached it to another piece of fabric by using one of the fancy stitches on my sewing machine. I've had the machine for about 27 years and it doesn't get much use anymore. I attached the material to the card then wrapped some fibre round in such a way that it formed a hangy piece. Then I attached some diecut flowers and butterflies and some gems. I attached a metal tag but I'm going to remove it as I don't think it looks right. I enjoyed making this so my poor unused sewing machine may find a new lease of life.
The stamp that I used is by Paperbag Studios.
The punches that I used for the flowers and butterflies are Martha Stewart punches.
For the flourish I use a Marianne Design die.

Cherry Ripe
I made this card for the Bella Muse challenge on Bella Creations.
We were given the image to use on whatever we wanted, I decided to make a card. The background paper is a freebie from the Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine, I've had it for a long time, knew it would come in useful one day. I attached it to a brown pearl card blank. I put a strip of turquoise card across the middle with a strip of some free paper. Using the same colour card as the card blank I used a Spellbinder die for the border and a Marianne die for the flourish. I stamped some cherries onto white card and coloured them with Promarkers, then I cut them out and double embossed them with some clear embossing powder to make them glossy then I attached them to the card. The sentiment is a sticker from my stash. The last thing I did was to put some sticky backed red gems along the border.
Stamps used.
Personal Impressions for the cherries.

Butterfly card
This is a card I've made for a Bella Muse Challenge in Bella Creations
We were given this lovely image to use. I attached the image onto some blue card that I'd punched with a Martha Stewart punch then attached it to the card. I punched some blue card with a Martha Stuart punch and attached it to the edge of the card then I added some daisy ribbon with a few little blue gems. I also put some blue gems in the images hair. I attached the flowers and the butterfly. I made the butterfly with a Marrianne Design die. Before putting it on the card I covered it in stickles. The background paper is by 7Gypsies.
