More Circles

It's the end of the June already, the year's racing by.
Today is the last day of the Art Journal Journeys Circle challenge and I've managed to make another page.

I painted the background with watercolours and used a Carabelle Studio stencil for the flowers. I added a bit more colour with Gelatos and stamped some circles. I cut some circles out of fabric and glued them to the page, the flowers at the bottom are cut out of some fabric. The quote is a Woodware stamp. I added some sequins and remnent rubs.

Thank you for dropping by, have a lovely day.

Circles

Good morning, I hope you all had a good weekend.

Circles is this months challenge theme at Art Journal Journey. I must admit that in my head my page was a lovely pastel watercolour with a few circles but I got carried away.

I used watercolours for the background and for the different circles I used Neocolours, pitt pens. Posca pen, Finnabair stamps and Archival ink.

Thank you for dropping by, have a lovely day.

Flourish Postcard

Good morning, it looks like it's going to be another scorcher today, I hope you're all enjoying sunshine wherever you are. I'm now back online after five days without the internet - it seemed longer.

I'm sharing with you today a postcard that I made earlier in the year for a UK Stampers swap the theme was flourishes.

The card was coloured with Fresco Finish paints and the Creative Expressions swirls were stamped with white acrylic paint. I put some tissue tape at the bottom and stamped the main image [Paperartsy] directly onto the card. The moth at the bottom was stamped onto card, coloured, cut out and glued to the card. I added some Tim Holtz small talk stickers.

Thank you for dropping by, enjoy the sunshine.

Tiny Dancer

Good morning everyone, we had a lovely sunny day yesterday and it looks like it's going to be the same today.

Years ago when I was on the Gecko Galz design team I did a few digital pieces, the other day I was going through some things on my computer and I found a few projects that I never finished so I decided to finish one and share it with you.

I'm entering my piece in the Digitally Made challenge, the theme is Quote.

I used Serif Craft Artist and Gecko Galz digital images.

Thank you for dropping by to take a look, have a lovely day.

I'm entering my ATC in  The Artistic Stamper challenge - Winged Things.

I uses distress oxides to colour the background and stencilled some butterflies with Decoart crackle paste, when the paste was dry I sprayed the butterflies with raspberry Color Bloom. I stamped the Finnabair butterfly onto card that had been coloured with distress oxides, I cut it out and glued it to the card, you can't see from the photo that I put some Crackle Accents on the spots, I added some gems on the body and doodled round the edge.

Thank you for dropping by and have a lovely day.

Inchies

Good morning everybody, first I would like to welcome my new followers Kate, Janice, Jackie, Petrina, Elke and Soozyb, thank you for following me, I hope you enjoy looking at my projects.

I haven't done much crafting or blogging for a while, at the beginning of the year I decided to sort out my craft room as it was a bit of a mess - it still is a mess but I've decided to have a little break from it. I'm going through everything and have got rid of a lot of stuff that I haven't used for a while and never will, you can imagine how much stuff I have after over 20 years of paper crafting.

Today I'm sharing with you some inchies that I made for the UK Stampers April inchie swap.

All the inchies were made from scrap card and stamped with Inkadinkado inchie stamps.

Thank you for dropping by, have a nice day.
