A Couple Of Anniversary Cards

Happy Sunday everyone.
Today I’m sharing a couple of anniversary cards that I made earlier in the year.

For the first card I painted the hearts with watercolour, splattered some gold paint and wrote the sentiment.

For this card I splattered some pink and gold paint onto a piece of handmade paper, I adhered some different fabrics to some hessian and adhered it to the card. I added the Tim Holtz paper doll image and the sentiment that I’d stamped onto fabric.

Thank you for visiting, you’re all very welcome. xxx

Art Deco Lady

Hi everyone, I hope you’re all well and enjoying the weekend.
I’ve not been very well for the last couple of weeks, I caught a nasty virus from somewhere, I’ve not been able to get out and have spent most of the time in bed or under a blanket on the settee. No crafting has been done in my room but I’ve managed to do some embroidery which has made a nice change. I’ve started to feel a little better so hopefully I’ll be more my old self by the end of next week.

I’ve been looking through my photos and found a few projects that haven’t been blogged yet so I’ll share A couple of them with you.

The two spreads were made for the Art Journal Summer School 2019.

I drew the lady and painted her with acrylic paint, the background was made with bits of paper and painted. The left page is just a piece of patterned paper that I wrote on.

For this lesson we had to see what colours we could make with four watercolours.

Thank you for visiting, have a lovely weekend. xxx

SPA - Trees

Good morning everyone, I  hope you’re all having a lovely weekend.
This week I’m very happy to be hosting the  Sunday Postcard Art challenge, the theme that I’ve chosen is Trees.

I used a Gelli print for the background and stamped the Impression Obsession large tree. I stamped the Crafty Individuals trees onto a piece of Gelli print, cut it out and glued it to the card, I stamped the quote (unknown stamp) onto the same print and glued it to the card, the last thing I did was to go round the edges with a yellow Posca pen.

Thank you for dropping by, enjoy what’s left of the weekend. xxx

Humorous Tag And ATC

Hi everyone, this week I’ve joined the Pick A Stick Facebook challenge group, they have monthly art journal, tag and ATC challenges, here are my tag and ATC for this month.

I’d like to enter my tag in the
Creative Artiste Challenge  - Anything Mixed Media Goes
More Mixed Media Challenge  - Anything Goes + Optional Orange

The background was coloured with acrylic paint and stamped with Archival ink, I don’t know the make of stamps. I collaged some book pages and washi tape to the bottom of the tag although the washi tape took over. The main image and words (both Art Impression stamps) were stamped onto card, coloured with felt tips, cut out and glued to the tag. I added some white dots using a Posca pen.

The background was coloured with acrylic paint and I used Posca pens to do the swirls, the little birdie (Joggles stamp) was stamped onto card, coloured with felt tips, cut out and glued to the ATC. The words are a Riley and Company stamp.

Thank you for visiting, you’re all very welcome. xxx

SPA - The Moon

Good morning everyone, today I’m sharing with you the postcard that I’ve made for this weeks Sunday Postcard Art challenge, the theme is The Moon.

I used gelli prints for the background and moon. I put some mushroom washi tape across the bottom of the card and stamped the mushroom silhouettes (stamp unknown) with black archival ink. The moon was stamped with an Aall & Create stamp. The mushrooms were printed from a drawing that I did, I cut them out and adhered them to the card, the fairy ( Caroline Stamps) was stamped onto card and cut out, the cat is a piece of washi tape. I wrote the words and doodled round the edges.

Thank you for visiting, you’re all very welcome. xxx

Birthday card

Today I’m sharing with you a card that I made using gelli prints, during September I joined in with Bergit Koopsen’s Gelli plate challenge. I managed to follow the prompts everyday.

I used a couple of the prints for the background and I think the flowers are a Stampendous stamp, I coloured them with pencils, I added some thread and a die cut butterfly.

I won’t show all the prints as there are too many but I’ll show you three piles, now all I have to do is think of what to use them for.

112 x 5” x 3 1/2” prints.

107 6"x 6" prints

90 A4 prints

Thank you for visiting my blog, you are all very welcome. xxx
