SPA - Alice In Wonderland

Hi everyone, I hope you've all had a good weekend.
I'm sharing with you today the postcard that I've made for this weeks Sunday Postcard Art challenge, the theme is Alice In Wonderland.

I coloured the background with distress inks and added some white paint. I stamped the Cheshire cat onto the card. I adhered some patterned paper and washi tape to the bottom of the card. Alice and the Mad Hatter images were stamped onto white card, coloured with pencils and cut out, then they were adhered to the card. The stamped quote and doodles round the edge were added last.

Stamps used.
The Artistic Stamper - Alice and the Mad Hatter images.
Cherry Pie Art - Cheshire Cat.
Indigo Blu - The quote.

Thank you for visiting, you're all very welcome. xxx

Craftpod Makes

Good morning everybody, the sun is out but it's a little chilly.

My Autumn Craftpod box arrived during the week, it reminded me that I haven't posted the projects that I made with the Spring and Summer boxes.

I loved the colours for the projects in the Summer box, the rose cross stitch had a hoop to display it in but I found a small trinket box that had been waiting years to have something done to it, the rose was ideal.

This project is a sewing needle case, I enjoyed making this even though I stitched the embroidered panel to the front a little wonky

The Spring box had a stitch sampler to embroider and a bag to make and embroider.

I'm now looking forward to making the projects from the Autumn box, one of the projects is a little different, no stitching anywhere.

Thank you for taking a look, have a lovely weekend. xxx

SPA - Venus

This weeks challenge for the  Sunday Postcard Art is Venus.

Here is my postcard.

For the background I used distress ink with a stencil. I stamped the images [unsure of the make] on tissue paper and adhered them to the card, because she has no arms I gave her some seashell wings. I got the Venus image on the Internet.

Thank you for visiting, your'e all very welcome. xxx

Moon Godess

Good morning everybody, the sun is shining today, I hope it lasts. Today I'm sharing a journal page that I made in July, it was made for a Burkmates Creative Outlets challenge (James Burkes Facebook group}. James posted an image of one of his drawings and we could use it anyway we wanted.

I'm entering my page in the Art Journal Journey challenge A World Of Fantasy, the theme was chosen by Yvonne.

I used Cosmic Shimmer Pixie Powder and a stencil for the background, I printed James image and cut her out together with the moons. I drew the dangling stars and coloured them and her hair with a gold Imagination Crafts starlighs paint. I added gold splatters and edged the page with a black marker. The shimmer on the page doesn't show up very well on the photo.

Thank you for dropping by to take a look, have a lovely day. xxx

Alcohol Ink Galaxy

Hi everybody.
I have a couple of alcohol ink pages to show you today, I made them for Nina Ribena's Facebook challenge group.

I'd like to enter my pages in the Art Journal Journey Fantasy challenge.

For the first one I used glossy card with alcohol inks and Promarkers, The words and moon are AALL&Create stamps and the flying man is a Deep Red stamp. I stamped with Stazon and used a black marker for the border.

For this page I used yupo paper with alcohol inks and Promarkers, the stamps are AALL&Create. I used black Stazon to stamp with and a black marker for the border. I also used surgical spirit for both pages.

Thank you for dropping by, you're all very welcome. xxx
