Good morning everyone, I hope you're all having a good weekend.
Sabine has chosen Sewing/Dressform as this weeks theme for the Sunday Postcard Art challenge.
I covered my postcard with some patterned paper from my stash and stamped the images with Archival ink. The main image was stamped and embossed with black powder. I used Stampers Anonymous and Paperartsy stamps but I'm not sure who made the stamp that I used for the stitching round the edge.
My postcard was also made for this months UK Stampers postcard swap.
Below is a photo of some embroidery that I did last week, it's from the winter Craftpod craft box.
Thank you for dropping by to take a look, have a lovely Sunday. xxx Hazel.

Altered Notebook Cover
It's the start of a new month so it's time for a new challenge at Altered Eclectics, as always the theme is Anything Goes - no cards allowed. For my Project this month I've altered the cover of a notebook.
This is the notebook that I used. I started by covering the book with a gelli print and some torn patterned paper, then I added some thread. I coloured the centre panel with distress oxide and added some tissue tape. The Stampers Anonymous flowers were stamped with black Archival ink and coloured with pitt pens. I also stamped a couple of flowers on white card, coloured them with pitt pens, cut them out and glued them over the stamped images. The notebook was embellished with ribbon, metal charm, remnent rubs and word stickers.
The rest of the design team have made some lovely projects and they would love you to take a look. Happy crafting. xxx Hazel.

Good morning everybody. It was a lovely springlike day yesterday and so nice to go out without a coat, looks like it might be the same today.
Today I'm sharing with you a card that I made for the UK Stampers February card challenge, here is the inspiration picture we were given.
The background was made by sprinkling some brushos onto a stencil and spraying it with water. I stamped the Stampers Anonymous flower onto the card and water coloured it with inktense sticks. I added the ribbon and matted it onto some mauve card and then onto a white card blank. I coloured three white flowers with the inktense sticks and fastened them together with a brad then I added the sentiment.

A Birthday Card
It was a friends birthday this week and this is the card I made for her.
The background is a discarded one, I used a Carabelle Studio stencil with some brushos but I sprayed to much water on it and it ended up too messy for what I needed it for, but it was ideal for this card. I stamped the Stampers Anonymous flower and water coloured it with brushos. I used the same card and a Stampendous stamp and die for the butterfly. It was matted onto some black card and then glued to the card blank.

I've just finished the next two cards for the Maremi's Creative Cafe Facebook group challenge. For the letters C and D the words we were given were coffee and dragonfly.
I used an Impression Obsession stamp and Kaleidacolor inks for the background, I flicked water on it. I drew the mug and coloured it with felt tips and stamped some hearts. The mug stains are a Stampers Anonymous stamp.
I used a stencil and modelling paste on the card and painted it with gesso. I coloured it with Gelatos. and spread some micro bead gel, when this dried I used my finger to add some gilding. The dragonfly was coloured stamped, coloured with felt tips and cut out. I put stickles on the wings and a metal game pointer on the body. The quote was stamped with an Artistic Stamper stamp. No idea who made the dragonfly.

SPA - Sepia
It's been a while since I entered the Sunday Postcard Art challenge, the latest theme has been chosen by Rosie and she has chosen Sepia.
I started by gluing some gauze to the card and then gave it a coat of gesso. I put some acrylic ink at the top of the card and sprayed with water so that I could let the ink run down the card - I used three colours and dried each colour before adding the next one. I added some script and white splatters. The flower [Stampers Anonymous] was stamped onto white card, coloured with distress ink, cut out and glued to the card, I also stapled the stem. The words [Paperartsy] were stamped onto white card and cut out.

Steampunk Tag
Steampunk is the latest theme for this weeks Go Tag Thursday challenge.

I coloured my tag with Distress ink and stamped some cogs and some number charts. I stamped the man onto tissue paper, cut him out and glued him to the tag. I added some tissue tape.
I stencilled the Sweet Poppy steampunk dog with modelling paste and when it was dry I cut it out and used my finger to spread some Treasure Brass over it. I glued it to the tag and added some cogs and chain from his collar to the mans hand.
Stamps used.
Stampers Anonymous - man and numbers.

N is for Number
For the latest Craft Barn Alpha/Dictionary challenge I've chosen the word Number.
For the background I used Stampers Anonymous number stamps. The numbers can be used singly but I put them all onto one acrylic block and inked them with different colours of distress ink and stamped them onto my white postcard. I randomly stamped a number chart with black Archival ink. I added tissue tape, the letter N and the dictionary definition.
