Use A Stencil Or Two

Good morning all, today is the start of a new challenge at Try It On Tuesday, the theme is to Use A Stencil Or Two. I’m very happy to be a guest designer for the challenge.

For the challenge I’ve Made a card.

For the background I sprayed some Dylusions ink through a stencil and then sprayed a little water to make some of the ink run. I added some gold paint splatters.

For the main image I used a sweet poppy stencil and Versamagic ink then I added some doodling on the flowers.

I adhered the background to a card blank then I wrapped some cord round the image and adhered it to the card,  I die cut some butterflies using a Martha Stewart butterfly punch and added them and a sentiment to the card.

Thank you for dropping by to take a look, have a lovely day. xxx

Steampunk Tag

Steampunk is the latest theme for this weeks Go Tag Thursday challenge.

I wasn't sure if I could get a tag made in time, I went to my Nephews wedding on Sunday and my Father-In-Law was taken into hospital on Monday so I've not had much time for crafting.

I coloured my tag with Distress ink and stamped some cogs and some number charts. I stamped the man onto tissue paper, cut him out and glued him to the tag. I added some tissue tape.
I stencilled the Sweet Poppy steampunk dog with modelling paste and when it was dry I cut it out and used my finger to spread some Treasure Brass over it. I glued it to the tag and added some cogs and chain from his collar to the mans hand.
Stamps used.
Stampers Anonymous - man and numbers.
PaperArtsy - cogs.
7Gypsies - clock.

Thank you for looking.
xxx Hazel.

Stencils and Masks

Stencils and Masks is the theme for the latest Craft-Room Challenge and it has been chosen by Esther.

We are sponsored by Stamp Addicts who are giving the lucky random winner a £10 voucher to spend in their store.

For the main image I used a Sweet Poppy Stencil. I stencilled some coloured ink onto some white card and then spread some Dreamweaver translucent embossing paste over it. When the paste dried I coloured the card with distress ink and splashed some water over it. I matted this onto some orange card. I coloured the background with some distress ink and stencilled some butterflies. I added some wooden butterflies that I'd coloured with distress ink and embossed with some clear embossing powder.

The rest of the Design Team have made some lovely samples and they would love you all to visit the Craft-Room Challenge to take a look.
