SPA - Picnic

The theme for the latest Sunday Postcard Art challenge is Picnic. I haven't been on a picnic for a long time, I always enjoyed them but found wasps to be very annoying.

For my postcard I used some card that I'd coloured with Infusions. I glued some gingham card to the top. I got a couple of images of the internet and glued them to my card. I stamped the wasps on the card and I also stamped them onto white card, I coloured them and cut out the bodies and wings, they were glued to the stamped images on the postcard. The mouse was stamped onto card, coloured, cut out and glued to the postcard.

    Love this! Yes, wasps can be a picnic problem as well sometimes. Haha, I love your mouse passed out with a full belly! Reminds of the rat, Templeton, on Charlotte's Web. LoL. Your card is a fun mix of photos and stamping. The picnic invitation is great.

    Grrr! Why do those pesky wasps always turn up at picnics... still, I suppose if they've been invited to this one, I can't complain! Love this little scene.

    I'm not keen on the wasps but the sweet mouse looks very content after the picnic. Its a fantastic postcard.

    Just great, Hazel...I don't think you have missed even one component of the traditional picnic...except the people! Since we are in the campground for the summer, I "picnic" every day and love it. So far, the bees and wasps have not yet found us, but the ants are in abundance!
