SPA - Audrey Hepburn

Good morning everyone, I hope you are all having a good weekend.

Audrey Hepburn is the latest theme for the Sunday Postcard Art challenge.

My postcard was very quick and easy to make.

I glued strips of black card to my red postcard. The image and quote were stamped and embossed on white card, I cut them at and angle and glued them to the card.

Stamps used.
B Line Designs - Audrey.
Art Impressions - Quote.

Thank you for looking, have a lovely Sunday.
xxx Hazel.

Clean and Simple

I don't seem to be doing much craft stuff at the moment so I thought I would start to show you some work that I've done through the year. I'm starting with a couple of CAS cards that I made for a KCUK Challenge.

For this card I used an aperture card to mask the front of my card blank, then I sponged it with Distress ink. I stamped the image and then removed the mask, then drew lines around the image.
The stamp that I used is a B Line Design stamp.

For the background I scribbled on an acrylic block with some felt tip pens and sprayed it with water then I stamped it on my card blank. I then stamped the image and sentiment with black Archival.
I use a Dina Wakley stamp.

Playing With Spray Inks

The August challenge for the Voila Ink group at Bella Creations is to use spray ink on your project. I used Adirondack Color Wash.
I started by attaching a Crafters Workshop tree mask to a piece of white card and sprayed it with lettuce and cranberry, then I removed the mask and sprayed it with butterscotch. When the ink had dried I distressed the edges and went round them with forest moss Distress ink. I stamped the butterflies at the bottom and stamped some extra onto a piece of coloured card and cut them out.  I covered the butterflies with clear rock candie Distress Stickles and attached them to the card with foam pads and added some sticky backed gems to their bodies. I put some sari ribbon down the left hand side and attached the whole thing to a white card blank that I'd coloured the edges with forest moss Distress ink.
The stamps that I used are Tim Holtz Stampers anonymous.

Less is More

I've made this card for the Less is More challenge. This week the sentiment has to be the focus.
The stamp I've used is The Secret Garden by B Line Designs. I coloured the flowers with watercolour pencils and a water brush, then I embossed the front of the card with a Cuttlebug folder and added a ribbon.
