Less is More

I've made this card for the Less is More challenge. This week the sentiment has to be the focus.
The stamp I've used is The Secret Garden by B Line Designs. I coloured the flowers with watercolour pencils and a water brush, then I embossed the front of the card with a Cuttlebug folder and added a ribbon.

  1. Looks like you've done a lot of work here Hazel... lots of lovely things!
I feel that the embossing does detract a little from the sentiment and could easily have been omitted(this is only my opinion you understand... others may disagree)You have plenty going on in the card with the flowers and the ribbon!
We really appreciate your participation and hope that you'll join us again next time!

  4. What a wonderful sentiment, and I love the watercolouring on the card. I am no expert, as my blog will depict, but I have to agree with Chrissie I don't think it needed the embossing. Nevertheless, a wonderful card. Lynn x

  9. Lovely card but have to agree that the embossing detracts for me, but that is my personal opinion.

  14. I love that little excerpt from The Secret Garden - beautiful with the flowers and the texture from the embossing folder. Wouldn't it be a great card for a keen gardener?!
