This is the card that I made for my nephew, it was a very quick and easy card to make.
The background stamp was stamped straight onto the card blank. I stamped the image onto white card, then I cut it out and matted it onto black card.
The stamps are Woodware and the ink I used was Marvy shades of blue Blending Blox.

Jigsaw Tag
The theme for the February KCUK tag swap is anything goes but there must be a jigsaw piece on the tag.
I made the tag from one of the backgrounds that I'd made some time ago.
I stamped the crowns onto some tissue paper and adhered it to the tag.
I painted the jigsaw piece with gesso and then coloured it with Distress ink, then I gave it three coats of clear UTEE and adhered it to the tag then I added the sentiment.
The stamps I used are PaperArtsy/Lynne Perrella and the sentiment is a Wendy Vecchi stamp

Craft-Room Colour Challenge
It's Ambers turn to choose the latest theme for the Craft-Room Challenge, she has chosen a colour challenge and has provided the lovely picture below with the colours that are to be used.
We are sponsored this week by the wonderful Stamp Addicts. Click on the link to see all of the amazing stamping products they have available.
This is my DT card.
Last week I spent a lovely crafty day at my friend Alisons, we played with our Portfolio oil pastels. I used them to colour the background of my card together with a mask and a baby wipe. I stamped some script and then matted it onto some black card. I used felt tips to colour the Hero Arts flower stamp and then matted the image onto black card. The sentiment is a Darkroom Door stamp.
Helen Chilton has an article in January's Craft Stamper using Gelatos for the same technique.
The rest of the DT have made some beautiful samples and they would love you to visit the Craft-Room to take a look.

Twelve Tags of 2014 - February
Before I show you my take on Tims February Tag I'd like to thank you all for the congratulations that you sent me on being one of January's winners, I was thrilled to bits when I saw my name on the list - and still am.
Again I didn't have all the bits that Tim used.
Again I didn't have all the bits that Tim used.
I used wild honey and victorian velvet Distress stain for the background and sponged worn lipstick and fired brick Distress ink through the rays mask before embossing it with clear powder. I edged the tag with victorian velvet but wished I'd used a darker colour.
I used red card to die cut umbrella man and gave him two thick layers of fired brick Distress Stickles.
I have no white chalk so for the sentiment I scribbled my picket fence Distress Marker onto the stamp [Stampers Anonymous] and quickly stamped it onto black card, then I matted it onto white card.
I used gold miri card and the Sizzlits vintage lace die for the border at the bottom.
I added a cog, arrow and some sari ribbon.

Sing Bird Sing
The first challenge at KCUK this month is to use book/dictionary pages, here is the card that I made.
I adhered a piece of book page to a card blank and then sponged peacock feathers Distress ink over it. I then distressed the edges of a piece of scrap paper that was used to clean my brayer after playing with my Gelli plate. I stamped the image [The Artistic Stamper] onto a book page, tore the edges and adhered it onto some torn black card. The bow was made with a piece of seam binding that I 'd dyed with peacock feathers and the chipboard bird was embossed with aged aqua Frantage powder.
I'm entering my card into The Artistic Stamper February challenge - Use Distress.

Bird Tag
I'd like to share with you today the second tag that I made for the Paperplay January tag swap.
I used one of my Gelli prints for the background and stamped the flying birds [Stampers Anonymous], the bird flourish [Chocolate Baroque] and the birdcage [Kaisercraft]. I put black soot Distress ink round the edge. I used the Sizzix Alterations bird branch die for the die cut, I coloured it with walnut stain and then cut the bird of the branch, this was so that I could stand the branch upright, I covered the bird with orange stickles and adhered it to the tag, then I added the sentiment [Creative Expressions].

Inchie - Chocolate
The theme for this weeks challenge at Every Inchie Monday is chocolate.
For my inchie I've quilled some tiny chocolates, they were really fiddly to do.
My favourite chocolate is the one that comes in the purple wrapper so I used some purple mirri card for my inchie
Here is a side view of my inchie and below is a photo with a ruler to show the size.

Butterfly Tag
Good morning everyone, I hope you are all fit and well and not to wet and windblown, it's still very windy in my part of the country but at least the rain has stopped for the time being.
I'd like to share with you one of the tags that I made for the Paperplay January tag swap.
The background for the tag is one of my Gelli prints. I stamped some butterflies [stamps unknown] with peacock feathers and spiced marmalade Distress ink then I stamped some twiggy things [stamps unknown] up the sides with black Archival and then added some tissue tape to the bottom. I stamped the main image [Paperbag Studio] onto white card and coloured it with distress inks using a water brush, I cut the image out and adhered it to the card. The sentiment was stamped onto vellum and attached to the tag with staples.

Ribbons and Lace
Another fortnight has flown by and it's time for the latest Craft Room Challenge. The theme has been chosen by our new team member Annie - it's her first challenge and she has chosen Ribbons and Lace.
We are sponsored once again by the ever generous Crafty Individuals.
For my DT piece I altered a notebook that I found in a charity shop.
I covered the notebook with some patterned paper from my stash and layered some lace, ribbon and a couple of patterned paper that I'd distressed. I stamped the image [Crafty Individuals] onto mountboard and coloured it with distress ink then I triple embossed it with clear embossing powder. I adhered the image to the notebook and added some ribbon flowers and an addage ticket. I coloured some wooden butterflies with Treasure brass and adhered them to the book.
The rest of my team mates have made some wonderful samples so why not visit the Craft-Room to take a look.

Inchie - Cathedral
Cathedral is this weeks word for the Every Inchie Monday challenge.
My inchie is very simple this week, I found an image on the Internet and printed it after resizing it. I don't know what cathedral it is.

Time ATC
Hi everyone, I hope you're all having a good weekend.
I made this ATC for the UK Stampers January ATC swap, the theme was Time.
I made this ATC for the UK Stampers January ATC swap, the theme was Time.
I embossed some card with a Sizzix Alterations embossing folder then coloured it with Treasure Brass.
I stamped and embossed Phineas Pinchbeck [The Artistic Stamper] onto white card, cut him out and then coloured him lightly with vintage photo distress ink.
I adhered the background to some black card, then added the image and a wooden alarm clock that I'd coloured with Treasure Pewter.
