The first challenge at KCUK this month is to use book/dictionary pages, here is the card that I made.
I adhered a piece of book page to a card blank and then sponged peacock feathers Distress ink over it. I then distressed the edges of a piece of scrap paper that was used to clean my brayer after playing with my Gelli plate. I stamped the image [The Artistic Stamper] onto a book page, tore the edges and adhered it onto some torn black card. The bow was made with a piece of seam binding that I 'd dyed with peacock feathers and the chipboard bird was embossed with aged aqua Frantage powder.
I'm entering my card into The Artistic Stamper February challenge - Use Distress.

ReplyDeleteHazel I love this very much. Book pages are my favourite stamping surface. That is a fabulous stamp, great colour palette and so love the torn edges.

You are so creative Hazel --- I don't know why in the world I can not come up with wonderful ideas like this. Perhaps if I keep following you and reading what you do it will finally settle in.
