Hearts and Love ATCs

Good morning everyone, I hope you're all having a lovely weekend.

Today I'd like to share with you some ATCs that I've made for a KCUK swap.

For the background I stencilled some hearts with gesso and when they were dry I wet the cards and sprinkled brushos over them, when this dried I stamped some script.
The word love [Dina Wakley] was stamped onto scrap card and coloured with distress ink, then I cut them out and glued to the cards.
I stamped the bird heart onto some die cut hearts, I think the stamp was a freebie on the Craft Stamper, then I coloured them with distress ink and painted them with some DecoArt Crackle Glaze, when the glaze dried I glued them to the cards.

I would like to enter my ATCs in the following challenges
The Artistic Stamper challenge, the theme is love.
That's Crafty Be My Valentine challenge.

More Mono Printing With An Acrylic Block

I'd like to share with you another project that I've made for the Craft Stampers Take It Make It Challenge. You can find Trish Latimers tutorial in the April issue of the Craft Stamper.

This time I've made a card.

I stamped some leaves with an Inkadinkado stamp onto my mono print, I tore it into three pieces and adhered them to a Kraft card blank. I wrapped some twine round the card, made a bow and adhered a metal leaf. I used a PaperArtsy Eclectica stamp for the sentiment and matted it onto some black card.

Mono Printing With An Acrylic Block

The theme for the March challenge at the Craft Stampers Take It Make It Challenge is to make some mono prints using acrylic paint on acrylic blocks. Trish Latimer has a project in the April Craft Stamper where she has a tutorial on doing this technique.

This is a tag that I made.

I used a mixture of DecoArt and Fresco Finish acrylic paints. The background stamp is by Kaisercraft, I don't know who made the stamp on the edge.
I used the Sizzix Tattered Florals die for the flower and put a piece of corrugated card behind it so that the flower wouldn't disappear into the background. I also put some Stickles onto the petals. I added the PaperArtsy sentiment.

UK Stampers ATCs and Twinchies

These are the ATCs that I made for the UK Stampers windows swap.

I used a Stampotique stamp for the faces, I coloured them in with watercolour pencils.
The window is a Crafty Individuals Tatty Button stamp that I coloured with watered down vintage photo Distress ink.

These are the Twinchies that I made for the UK Stampers travel swap.

I think the background stamp was a Craft Stamper freebie and I don't know who made the car.

Face ATCs

Last month the Paperplay group had an ATC swap and the theme was Faces, these are the ATCs that I made.

The stamp that I used was a freebie from the Craft Stamper magazine and I coloured them with felt tip pens. I matted the images onto some gold card and cut it at odd angles. For the background I used card that I'd coloured ages ago. I also used some paper that was free in a magazine and the words are from the same free paper.

Chunky Alphabet Book S T and U

Here are my STand U pages for the Chunky Alphabet Book swap over on KCUK.
S is for strawberry.
I coloured the background with distress ink and then stamped some strawberries over it with the same colour. I stamped the main image onto cream card and coloured the edges with distress ink and coloured the image with Promarkers. The large strawberry was stamped and coloured with Promarkers, the two smaller strawberries were cut out of some patterned paper. I double embossed the strawberries with clear embossing powder before attaching to the page.
T is for tea party.
The background paper is from my stash. I stamped the main image onto white card then masked it of before colouring with broken china Distress Ink then I went round the edges with weathered wood. I removed the mask and left the image white then I matted it onto some pink card. I attached part of a book page to the background then attached the main image. The cup and saucer were stamped onto white card and coloured with Promarkers the letter T is a rub on. Last but not least I added a silver teapot charm to the image.
U is for umbrella.
The page is coloured with broken china and weathered wood Distress Ink and I used my finger to go round the edge with rusty hinge. I stamped the image with dried marigold onto the background then stamped it onto white card with black ink and coloured it with dried marigold, then I cut it out and attached it to the card. I stamped the image twice again and cut the umbrellas out, two were left black and white and I coloured the other two with Promarkers. I attached them to the page together with a torn piece of a dictionary and some raindrop and splat stickers from my stash.

Stamps used.
Craft Stamper free stamp, background strawberry and teacup and saucer.
Joanna Sheen, strawberry recipe.
Personal Impressions, strawberry.
Lost Coast Designs, tea party.
Magenta, umbrellas.

Less is More Sketch Card Challenge

I thought I'd join in with the Less Is More sketch card challenge this week. I covered the bottom of a DL card with some paper from my stash. I attached a die cut circle from the same paper to the card and stamped best wishes. The flower is made by stamping on to white card, I coloured it with Promarkers then cut it out. I went over the edges of the petals with forrest moss Distress Ink and curled the edges under slightly to give it a bit of dimension. I attached it to the round die cut and attached a button to the centre.
Stamps used.
Free flower stamp from the Craft Stamper.
