Melody is the theme for this weeks inchie challenge at Every Inchie Monday.
I'm a bit late with my inchie as I've not been very well, a nasty little stomach bug has laid me low and I spent the last few days in bed. It was my birthday on Friday so we were going out for lunch on Sunday to celebrate but we had to cancel it. I'm feeling a lot better but I still don't fancy eating the chocolate that I was given - something yummy to look forward to.
I'm sorry for not visiting your blogs over the last few days, I will visit you all soon.
Now for my inchie - there's not a lot to it. The music was stamped onto paper, I coloured it with vintage photo Distress ink and tore it be fore adhering it to the background.

Use Your Scraps
Time for another challenge here at Craft Room, thank you all for your lovely entries with beautifully stamped backgrounds. It's Esther's turn to choose the latest theme and she has chosen 'Use your scraps' for her theme. This is your chance to use some of the scraps that you've probably accumulated after you've finished your projects. You could use paper scraps, bits of ribbon or thread, chipboard cut offs, anything that is left over from another projects.
Our sponsor for this challenge is Stamp Addicts who are offering a £10 voucher to spend in their store.
When I do my DT pieces for Gecko Galz I always seem to print of more background paper than I need so for my card I have used some of the GG scrap background papers that I have left.
I hand stitched different papers together, stapled some ribbon scraps to the edge and the matted it onto some black card then this was matted onto a card blank that I've coloured with faded jeans Distress ink. I stamped the flowers onto some more of the scrap paper and cut them out and then I adhered them to the card and added the buttons. I used a Funstamp stamp for the flowers.

Senses ATCs
The senses was the April theme for the UK Stampers ATC swap.
I haven't got many stamps for the senses apart for a few eye stamps.
I've used the same PaperArtsy stamp on all three ATCs and the the glasses are a Karantha Stamp on shrink plastic. I've used Distress inks and the black card has had white linen Dylusions sprayed on it.

Inchie Track
Track is this weeks word for the Every Inchie Monday challenge.
I wasn't sure what to do for this one and looked through my stamps for one that looked like a track. I thought the one that I used looked a bit like a tank track in the desert.

Craft Room Challenge - Stamp Your Own Background
Thank you everyone that entered their fabulous postcards in the last challenge - I'll be choosing my favourite three this week and the results will be posted Tuesday 21st May.
The latest Craft Room challenge is to make your own background using rubber stamps.
The sponsor for the challenge is The Stampman - they have £10 for the lucky winner of the random draw to spend in their online store.
Here is the card I made for the challenge.
I stamped the white flowers with Versamark and embossed with clear powder then I coloured the card with Distress Inks. I then stamped the rest of the background with Distress Inks.
I used PaperArtsy stamps apart from the fern [Stamp Addicts] and the plant kindness and gather love [Stampotique].
The rest of the DT have made some fabulous samples so why not pay them a visit to take a look.

Fathers Day Card
I'd like to share with you a Fathers Day Card that I've made using the wonderful May products from Gecko Galz. If you're stuck on what to do for a Fathers Day Card this year why not visit the Gecko Galz website and take a look at the May collage sheets.
Image, Chequered Strip, Chequered Flags and Sentiment from Gecko Galz Start
Your Engines Collage Sheet.
Gecko Galz Dapper Dan Background Paper.
Card Blank.
Faded Jeans and Vintage Photo Distress Ink.
Black Card.
Twine and Staples.
Cover the card blank with background paper and the chequered strip.
Take another background paper and tear it to size and colour the back side
edge with the Distress ink, this is so that when you tear it and fold the torn
bits over white paper won’t be showing. When you’re happy with the distressing
adhere it to the card.
Colour the edge of the image with the distress ink and staple it to a piece
of torn black card. Adhere it to the card.
Adhere the twine to the top of the card - cut out the chequered flags and
adhere them to the twine.
Adhere the sentiment.

Texture ATC
TEXTURE is the latest theme at the Fun With ATCs challenge.
This is the ATC I've made.
I started by painting some corrugated card with acrylic paint. I stencilled the dragonfly with texture paste on to a piece of scrap pink card then I tore round it when it had dried. I adhered it to the card then painted over the dried paste. I then covered it with an orange wash, then when the wash had dried I melted some Frantage embossing powder round the edge then added the tiny dragonflies.

Alpha Challenge - A
The letter A is the latest letter in the Craft Barns Alpha Challenge.
The word I have chosen is ARTIST.
I used DecoArt Americana paint for the background with some Distress stain blotches. I used a PaperArtsy stamp for the script. I used a Flonzcraft stamp for the artist - he was stamped onto white card and coloured with Promarkers, cut out and adhered to the page. The flower image is a Gecko Galz image from the Monet collage sheet. I used a Sizzix/Alterations die for the word artist and the letter A, they were cut from some card that had been coloured with Alcohol inks.
Here is a close up of the dictionary page.

Inchie - Turtle
This weeks theme at the Every Inchie Monday challenge is Turtle.
OK! I hear you all shouting at your computers 'It's a tortoise' but he's a little tortoise who dreams of being a big turtle one day.
I stamped the Dimensions Crafts stamp onto shrink plastic and coloured it with pencil before shrinking it.

Happy Bird
A big welcome to all my new followers and a big thank you to all of you that leave me comments - they are all very much appreciated, I've got very behind again with my commenting but will try and catch up with you all in the next week.
I'd like to show you my happy bird - he was an angry bird but now he's happy because he's had a Andy Skinner make over and he has a big juicy worm for his lunch.
I found him in a garden centre - half price. I used lots of acrylic paint and sprayed a sealer over him as he is going to spend the summer in the garden. The photo's don't show his colours very well.
