Shabby Clock

I decided to alter a clock as one of my DT pieces for Gecko Galz this month. I used a clock face from the lovely Time Flies Collage Sheets.

This photo shows a close up of the crackle.

Clock Image from Gecko Galz Time Flies Collage Sheet.
Scraps of Gecko Galz Background Paper.
Wooden Clock Blank.
Multi Matt Medium.
Acrylic Paint.
Crackle Paint – I used DecoArt Perfect Crackle.
Vintage Photo Distress Ink.
PaperArtsy Dotty Stamp.
Versamark Ink and Gold Embossing Powder.
Lace or a Strip of Material.
Fabric Roses and Die Cut Leaves.

Paint the clock with the Multi Matt Medium to seal the wood then paint it with acrylic paint.
Print the clock face to fit the wooden clock and adhere to the clock then paint it with the crackle paint. When it’s dry sponge with the vintage photo so that the ink  goes into the cracks.
After the clock frame has been painted adhere scraps of paper and then stamp and emboss the dots with the gold powder.
Adhere the lace or fabric between the clock frame and back.
attach the hands and then the roses.
