I thought I'd join in with the first ever challenge at Addicted to CAS. For the challenge there is a code word and the word is SNOW.
I embossed the snowmen with a Craft-Too embossing folder, then I went over the raised areas with some stormy sky Distress ink and some ice stickles - although the glitter doesn't show up very well on the photo'. I added some ribbon and a peel off Merry Christmas.
I'm also going to enter my card in the
Challenge Up Your Life 1st Snow Challenge.

UK Stampers ATCs and Twinchies
I used a Stampotique stamp for the faces, I coloured them in with watercolour pencils.
The window is a Crafty Individuals Tatty Button stamp that I coloured with watered down vintage photo Distress ink.
These are the Twinchies that I made for the UK Stampers travel swap.
I think the background stamp was a Craft Stamper freebie and I don't know who made the car.

All the images that I used are from Gecko Galz, before adhering them to the card I covered them with Micro Beads. I used the Spellbinders Fleur de Lis Accents die for the strip across the bottom. Fabric Tag
For the latest Artful Times challenge Neet and Von want us to make a fabric tag - I decided to make a tag to hang on my Christmas tree.
There's not a lot to say about it really except that I used aida, red thread, felt, beads and ribbon.
I'd also like to share with you the very first piece of needlework that I ever made, it was made a very long time ago at school when I was five and it's the only thing that I have from my childhood besides photo's.
It's looking very tatty now and the threads have started to break.

Calendar Tag Book
I'd like to share with you this Calendar Tag Book that I've made using the beautiful November products from Gecko Galz.
Images from the Gecko Galz Calendar Days 1 and 2 Collage Sheets.
January, February, March.
April. May, June.
July, August, September.
October, November, December.
This is what the backs of the tags look like.
Images from the Gecko Galz Calendar Days 1 and 2 Collage Sheets.
A selection of Gecko Galz Background
Papers.
Vanity Fair Tags.
Distress Stain.
Distress Ink.
Date Calendar.
Buttons, Lace, charms, beads, flowers, etc. from my
stash.
Christmas and Halloween
embellishments.
White Tags.
Large Book Ring.
I coloured the tags with Distress Stain - each one
a different colour.
I covered the back of the tags with different
background paper and adhered one of the calendars from the Collage sheets - I
thought these could be used to note special days i.e.. birthdays.
On the front of the tags I adhered a Vanity Fair
Tag, an image and a date calendar. Before I adhered them I coloured and edged
them with Distress Inks.
I added lots of embellishment and ribbon from my
stash.
The last thing that I did was to attach the
book ring through the holes in the tags.

Punches and Die Cuts
Another fortnight has gone by so it's time for another Craft-Room Challenge. It's Mervi's turn to choose the theme and she has chosen Punches and Diecuts.
We had some fabulous entries for the Time challenge, I don't envy Suzanne having to choose her top three.
The wonderful Rare Bird are the sponsors for the challenge.
I started my card by colouring the edges of my card blank with holly berries Distress ink and adhering some Gecko Galz background paper. I embossed the holly branch with a Cuttlebug embossing folder, I coloured it with iced spruce and bundled sage Distress ink. For the holly I used a Sizzix/Alterations Holly Branch die and coloured the pieces with Distress ink, I then added some frosted lace Stickles. I die cut the sentiment with the Sizzex/Alterations Christmas Stacked Words die and coloured it with holly berries Distress ink and the stickles. I embellished it with some ribbon.
The rest of the design team have made some wonderful samples so why not take a trip to the Craft-Room to take a look.
I'm entering my card into the following challenges.
Challenges 4 Everybody Anything Goes.
Dream Valley Challenges Anything Goes.
The Crafty Bloggers Network Christmas Anything Goes.
The Stampman Emboss It.

Prada Handbag Cake
A couple of weeks ago I was asked to make Prada handbag cake for my friend's daughter's 21st birthday party - this is the result.
The icing on the sides should have been a bit baggier but I couldn't get the icing to sit right so it had to be flat but I must admit that I was quite pleased with the result as I haven't decorated a cake for about 4 years.

Orange, Brown and White
The latest challenge at Artful Times is Orange, Brown and White - I've made tag using Crafty Individuals stamps.
I mixed some walnut stain reinker with water and mica powder and sprayed it over a stencil on my tag, when it had dried I added a piece of ribbed kraft card that I'd put finger prints on with white acrylic paint. I stamped the background stamp onto some white card with rusty hinge Distress ink and then flicked some water over it. I coloured the torn edges with rusty hinge and walnut stain DI. The main image was stamped with coffee Archival ink, the cats were coloured with watered down rusty hinge. I added some ribbon, flowers and gems.

Hot Colours
The latest challenge at Show Us Your Twinchies is Hot Colours.
I coloured my twinchie by scribbling red, pink, orange and yellow Kuretake felt tip pens onto my mat, sprayed it with water and coloured the twinchie. I stamped the images with black archival. The stamps are by Clarity Stamps, they're are small stamps and just the right size for twinchies. I went round the edge with black ink.
