Hi everyone. I'm sharing with you a couple of man cards that I had to make last week, I'm also entering them in the Try It On Tuesday Take a Ride challenge.
The background for this card was already made in my stash and I stamped the Crafty Individuals train onto card that I'd coloured with distress inks. The circles on the background were made with an AALL&Create stamp, I'm not sure who made the ruler stamp or the sentiment stamp.
For this card I spread some gesso directly onto the card and did some stamping - unsure who made the stamps. The Crafty Individuals car was stamped onto card stained with some vintage photo distress ink.
Thank you for looking, enjoy your day. xxx

Butterflies and Bugs Art Journal Page
Good morning everyone, today I have a journal page to share with you.
I'd like to enter it in Elizabeth's Count Your Blessings challenge at Art Journal Journey I think butterflies and bugs are a blessing, there seems to have been a lot of butterflies this year and it's been lovely sitting in the garden watching them and the bugs going about their business.
I used acrylic paint on the background using my finger and brushes to apply the paint, I added some scribbling, I stamped the Tim Holtz bugs with black Archival ink and I stapled the lovely Gecko Galz butterfly image to some card and adhered it to the page. I added some frayed material, a word sticker and some remnant rubs.
Thank you for dropping by to take a look, you're all very welcome. xxx

SPA - Nursery Rhymes
Good morning everyone, I hope you're enjoying the weekend.
I'm happy to be hosting this weeks Sunday Postcard Art challenge, the theme I've chosen is Nursery Rhymes.
I covered my postcard with some patterned paper and printed the Gecko Galz image. I stamped the Paperartsy sheep and coloured them with pencils. Before adhering the image and sheep I stamped some leaves around the edge. I typed the lines of the rhyme before I printed the image. I went round the edge of the image and sheep with a black marker after I'd adhered them to the card.
Thank you for visiting, you're all very welcome. Have a lovely Sunday. xxx

Southern Gals Challenge - Day 4
Hi everyone, it's going to be another hot one today.
I have day 4 of the Southern Gals 5x7 challenge to share with you today. I really enjoyed making this page as I got very messy. I used my fingers to paint the page and I also used my fingers to stencil the paint. I added the words after the 5 minutes was up. I used Decoart paint.
Thank you for visiting, have a lovely weekend. xxx

Southern Gals Challenge - Day 3
I have my day 3 of the Southern Gals 5x7 challenge to share with you today.
I used a brayer to apply Decoart acrylic paint to my page and then I stamped some Finnabair images with the paint until the alarm on my timer went. I put the words on after the 5 minutes was up.
Thank you for dropping by, you're very welcome. xxx

Journal Page
It's August already so it's time for a new challenge at Altered Eclectics, as always the theme is Anything Goes as long as it's Altered Art/Mixed Media.
For my DT piece I've made a journal page.
I used a palette knife to spread some gesso onto some kraft card, when it was dry I went over the page with a vintage photo distress oxide ink pad and sprayed it with water. I used Aall&Create stamps with black archival ink to stamp on the background. I stamped the Tim Holtz flower onto white card, coloured it with pencils and cut it out. I adhered a strip of fabric to the page and added the flower stapling the stem to the page. I added some remnant rubs and word stickers.
Thank you for visiting, have a lovely day. x
