SPA - Orange

Orange is the theme for this weeks Sunday Postcard Art challenge.

I made the background of my postcard sometime last year using Gelatos and a PaperArtsy stencil. I used a baby wipe on the stencil to take away some of the Gelatos.

I put some orange Magic Colour Liquid Acrylic at the top of the card and sprayed with water so that it ran down the card, when this was dry I turned the card upside down and did the same with green Magic Colour. I used a pen to outline the leaves. I stamped the PaperArtsy tulip onto card and coloured it with pencils and felt tips, I cut it out and went round the edges with black ink and glued it to the postcard, then I stamped the word tulip.

Have a good day
xxx Hazel.

  3. Love that soft blended effect in the background - I don't know about Magic Colour Acrylics (and I'm not going to go and look and get tempted!), but they look great - and the vivid flower over the top really glows.
