The theme for this weeks Sunday Postcard Art challenge is Love Gives You Wings.
I used a gelli print for the background and used picket fence Distress paint to stamp splodges. The small hearts were stamped onto the card and the large heart was stamped onto card that had been coloured with Brushos and cut out. The butterfly lady was stamped onto card, coloured with pencils and cut out. I wrote the words and drew squiggly lines round the edge.
Stamps used:
Indigo Blu - splodges.
Dina Wakley - hearts.
Crafty Individuals - butterfly lady.
Thank you for looking.
xxx Hazel.
Just beautiful Hazel! A great card!
ReplyDeleteYour postcard is really beautiful, love the colours, too. Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteThe is beautiful. I love the color. Romantic and nice to be different than the usual red and pink. Happy Monday!
ReplyDeleteI have been meaning to stop by for a visit for several days, but unfortunately, life got in the way and I have to apologize for being so remiss in visiting. Now that my weekend company is finally asleep, I thought I'd stop by while I'm still coherent. I've been perusing your art, and you make beautiful pieces. I was really impressed with both this piece and the Valentine you created. Your hearts are simply stunning!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful post card with great colours
