Easel Card

It was my son's 22nd birthday this week and this is the card I made for him.
The stamps I've used are Flippin' Stamps by La Pashe for the fisherman, the sentiment is by After Midnight and the border is by Elusive Images. I coloured the image with Promarkers, the more I use these pens the more I love them.

Deco Pages for Jo

I'm taking part in a deco book swap and these are the first pages I've made. They 're for a lady called Jo and the theme for her book is Country's.
The stamps I've used for the Egyptian page are by Non Sequiter. Nefertiti's head has been embossed with gold Metal Magic, I've also embossed a couple of the corners with the Metal Magic. I used Delight modeling clay for the Pharaoh's head and when it had dried I coloured it with gold Viva Precious Metal Colour.
The stamps I used on the England page are Cherry Pie Art for the castle, Big Ben and the Queen, Elusive Images for the poppy and Crafty Individuals for the trees in the background. All the colouring in has been done with felt tips. I triple embossed the Queens head.

Wild Flowers

The stamps I've used for this card are by Elusive Images and I coloured the image and edges of the card with Distress Inks, barn door and crushed olive. I mounted the image onto some black card and added some pale green gems.

Moo Cards

I made these Moo Cards for a swap, the theme is Time. I've never made a moo card before so it was nice to do something different. The background and clock face stamps are by Creative Expressions and the stamp I used for the wings is by Invoke Art. I coloured the background with distress ink and covered the card and clock face with Crackle Accents but it doesn't show up very well on the photo. The edges of the cards has been embossed with cobalt sky Cosmic Shimmer UTEE. I wanted the wings to move so I attached them with a brad and stuck the face to the brad.

Think Of A Number

The theme for KCUK's February ATC swap was numbers, this is my contribution. The black card is called Black Magic, I embossed it with a Cuttlebug embossing folder and then sanded it to remove the black and show the colour underneath. I've got a stamping set that's like the John Bull printing set that I had when I was a kid, I find it very useful to make up words to stamp, I used it to make the sentiment. The ruler is some preprinted tape that I had.

Iris Card

Another quick card. The Iris stamp is by Penny Black and the words are by Hero Arts. I used Marvy Blending Blox ink on the stamps, I seem to use this ink quite a lot, the images were layered on to coloured card and I added some ribbon and some gems.

Vases of Flowers

This is a very simple card to make. The stamps I've used are by Penny Black and I stamped the images with Marvey Blending Blox. I layered the images on to coloured card and added some ribbon and some gems.

Embossed Card No 2

This card was made the same way as the previous card except that the background was coloured with Glimmer Mist and I matted it on to cream card.

Embossed Card

I used shades of blue and shades of green Marvy Blending Blox to colour some white card, then I stamped the image in black. The stamp I used is by Hero Arts. Then I embossed the stamped card with a Cuttlebug Embossing Folder, attached some ribbon then matted it on to black card and then matted it on to a green card blank. The sentiment was done the same way. I finished it off with a couple of bird charms.

Lily Card

The stamp I've used for this card is by Joanna Sheen.
I stamped the image with Versamark on to a white card blank and then dabbed on orange and yellow chalk. The main image was stamped on to white card and coloured with Promarkers, the first time I've used them, all the card has been edged with a Marvy Blending Blox shades of gold. I rounded the corners of the image then matted on to a terracotta card and then stuck some black gems in the corners, I did the same with the happy birthday. I put some orange ribbon on the side of the card before attaching the happy birthday.

Fishing Card

I made this card last week for a friends birthday, as he's mad about fishing I thought I'd make him a fishing card. I couldn't get any inspiration from the fishing stamps I've got so I thought I would use my computer. I printed a photo of my friend six times and cut them down to make a pyramage, I also used the photo to make the background paper. The fishing sentiment is from After Midnight and the happy birthday is from Rubbadubbadoo. I edged all the straight edges with gold peeloffs.

Another Fun Challenge Card

I've had this stamp for years and this is the first time I've used it. It's made by Stamps Happen. I stamped the image onto white card and coloured the background with Kaleidacolor pastel and I used felt tips on the woman. I've no idea who made the spotty background paper.

Fun Challenge Card

This is one of the three cards that I made for the KCUK fun challenge. The stamp I used is by After Midnight and it was stamped on K&Co paper. The background paper is also by K&Co. Isn't he a hunk?

Another Card

Here is another card using the same image as the last post. The background paper is by Basic Grey and I embellished the card with some gold thread and some green jewels.

Birthday Card

Here is a card that I made a earlier in the month. I've no idea what make the stamps are that I used. The image is stamped on to card that has been coloured with glimmer mist and the background paper was stamped with worn lipstick Distress Ink.
