The latest challenge at Artful Times is men so I've made a card for a nephew who's birthday is in August, I shall probably put it somewhere safe and forget where I've put it.
The stamps that I used are Stamps Away Pilkington Transport for the tractor and the words are by Katzelkraft.
I edged a white card blank with walnut stain Distress ink then matted some gingham paper onto it. I embossed the cogs with a texture fade and coloured it with walnut stain, scattered straw, barn door and vintage photo Distress ink, then I matted it onto red card and added the ruler ribbon. The tractor was stamped in black and coloured with the same colours as the embossed cogs. I matted this onto red card. I embellished the card with some metal cogs attached with brads and added the stamped words.
I'm also going to enter my card in the Do You Stack Up challenge, their theme is Boys/Men.

Steampunk Card
Ive gone all steampunk this week for my Creative Expressions DT card. I've used Sam Poole's Art Sayings stamps together with the Eco Green Steampunk Accessories 1 stamp set.
I covered a card blank with some blue paper and stamped some of the Eco Green stamps over it with walnut stain Distress ink, then I distressed the edges and edged with walnut stain.
I adhered some aluminium foil to a piece of card and embossed it with a Texture Fade, then I covered it in black acrylic paint and wiped of the excess before it dried. I then coloured it with ultramarine and timber brown Stazon. I coloured the main image with stormy sky, vintage photo and walnut stain Distress ink and wrapped some wire round it. I stamped a couple of the stamps onto the aluminium covered card with black Stazon, cut them out and adhered them to the card together with some cogs, game spinner and the words.

Grungy Monday 4
The theme for this weeks Grungy Monday challenge over at Studio L3 is Texture Fades and Distress. You can see Tim Holtz demonstrating it here. I'm also going to enter it for the Simon Says Stamp and Show challenge, their theme this week is to show a Lord Tim Of Holtz technique.
I started by spreading some mustard seed and worn lipstick Distress ink over a postcard texture fade and then embossed some cream card with it.Then I went over the embossing with some vintage photo Distress ink. I coloured some card with mustard seed, worn lipstick, tumbled glass and vintage photo Distress ink and stamped the images. After cutting the images out I attached them to the card together with a mini postcard from my stash and a metal tag.
The stamps I used are
Clarity Stamps, the Eiffel Tower.
Stampers Anonymous, the car and words.
Invoke Arts for the rest of the images.
