Wish You Were Here

It's time for another Craft Room Challenge and it's my turn to choose the theme and I want everyone to make a holiday postcard. The postcard has to be 6 inches x 4 inches landscape or portrait with a holiday theme - the postcard can be made using any medium and digital postcards are allowed as well.
Crafty Individuals are the sponsors for the challenge.

I've made a couple of postcards. The first one is from Africa, I coloured the background with Dylusions ink and stamped the silhouettes with black archival, the rest of the images were stamped onto card, coloured and cut out and adhered to the postcard. I used Promarkers and felt tips to colour the images and used Quickutz dies for letters. Some of the stamps that I used are Clarity stamps, I'm not sure who made the rest.

My second card is a beach scene. I used Crafty Individuals stamps. I started by brayering acrylic paint across the card and I stamped all the images onto a separate piece of card, coloured them with Promarkers and cut them out. The little seahorse is a Cricut diecut.

The rest of the DT have made some fabulous cards so why not visit the Craft Room Challenge to take a look.

Thank you everyone that took part in the So Sentimental challenge, the entries were fabulous and Mervi  will have a tough time choosing her top three.

  3. These are gorgeous Hazel! I love the depth you've created in the first scene, it's really clever. The second one is wonderful too - I have those stamps and haven't used them for ages. . . maybe I should let them see daylight some time soon! Hope you are well.
