Oriental Fan Card.

This is a card that I made for the GECKO GALZ  Design Team. I've use the Fans and Parasols Ephemera Collection.
I started of with a piece of white card, to matt the image onto, and a white card blank and went round the edges with black soot Distress Ink using my finger. I added some colour to the image with a watercolour pencil. The background is a piece of oriental patterned card and a torn strip of black and gold paper across the middle. I wrapped some gold thread round a piece of white embossed card and attached it to the background, then I attached the image. I wrapped some gold thread round the left hand side of the background and then attached the background to the card blank. The fan was stamped onto a piece of card and heat embossed. After it was cut out I added a gold fan charm and a gem I also added a couple more of the gold charms to the card for embellishment.
