Below are a couple of photos of my tortoise Harry, last weekend he decided it was spring and got up after his four month hibernation. Looking at the weather today I think he might decide that he got up a bit too early.
Thank you for visiting, have a lovely weekend. xxx Hazel.
Beautiful journal pages. Same weather here :( Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteIt may be snowing in your world, but your beautiful springtime journal entry is poignant. I love how you combined all the elements and created a perfect composition. Thanks for sharing this with us at Art Journal Journey, Hazel.
ReplyDeleteLovely sping pages
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing it at ART JOURNAL JOURNEY
Have a wonderful weekend
Your spring spread is amazing Hazel and we love to see it linked to Art Journal Journey! Thank you very much ! I love this amazing textures you achieved with the napkins - that looks very good and wow another AJJ participant with a tortoise! Your Harry knows for sure that spring is just around the corner - even though we have snow today ( here as well) the birds are building their nests and I am sure spring comes very soon! Your quote fits the weather perfect!
ReplyDeleteI love tortoises and would so like to have one by myself. Hugs to Harry!
Hugs to you! Happy weekend!

I love your journal pages Hazel. Lots of happy Spring stamping and the little bird is lovely.
ReplyDeleteSuper photos of Harry. He's a very handsome tortoise. Is that a cuttlefish I see in his pen? We've had snow flurries all day but its just blowing about in the wind. Take Care. Barbxx
I think Harry should have stayed in hibernation! We've got white stuff here again too, I'm sooooo done with winter!
ReplyDeleteA gorgeous colourful page. The nearest to spring I’m going to get this weekend! Hope Harry doesn’t get too confused!
ReplyDeleteA gorgeous spring spread Hazel, and lovely pics of Olive and Josie's little brother Harry! Xxx
ReplyDeleteLovely, bright pages - great spread.
ReplyDeleteLove the tortoise, too. My friend in France had one that was as old as I was - 36 at the time - she let him roam free in the house, which was so funny! Last time I visited, she had three little babies but I'm sorry to say they didn't survive.
Hope he's ready to really wake up!
