I've managed to make the January tag for Tim's 12 Tags of 2014. I didn't have a lot of the elements needed but found similar things in my craft stash.
I coloured the tag with pumice stone distress ink and flicked water over it, when this was dry I sponged the pumice stone through a clock mask then I edged the tag with black soot.
I stamped the numbers with black Archival - wish I'd stamped them nearer the edge.
I adhered some silver mirri card to some scrap card to make it thicker and then die cut it using the Sizzix Alterations Weathered Clock die. I embossed the centre of the clock with a cog embossing folder. I lightly sanded the clock and then covered it with black acrylic paint and then wiped most of it away leaving black paint in the grooves. I then adhered it to the tag. I splattered some black acrylic paint over the tag.
I stamped the words onto white card and cut them out, I attached them to with mini staples.
The ticket is a 7Gypsies fabric label that I stamped the sentiment on. I went over the words with a black marker, then I attached it to the tag with mini staples.
I finished the tag with cogs, ribbon, pin and a charm that I'd adhered a date to with a domed sticker.
Absolutely stunning and an awesome steampunk theme.
