A Pink Card

I'd like to share with you the card that I've made for this months challenge at KCUK, the theme is pink.

Last week my friend Alison came to play, we had a wonderful day playing with our Gelli plates - I now have lots of lovely backgrounds to use.

I started by stamping a PaperArtsy flower stamp with aged mahogany distress ink onto my pink Gelli background. I then stamped the Jofy flowers and dragonfly onto the background and also onto white card, I coloured the flowers, leaves and dragonfly, then cut them out and adhered them over the images on the card, I added the sentiment and adhered the whole thing onto a white card blank that I'd edged with aged mahogany.

  4. Absolutely love it, Hazel - gorgeous! Father Christmas brought me a Gelli plate, too, so am dying to use it but a little bit wary - your b/g has inspired me! Thank you x
