This altered this notebook will be used as a stocking filler at Christmas.
I covered the notebook in a yellow background paper and sprayed it with Glimmer Mist, then I adhered black and white card and added the ribbon. The image and quote were stamped a very long time ago and sorry I cant remember who made the stamps. They were stamped onto card that I'd sprayed with Glimmer Mist. I matted them onto white card. I embellished the notebook with white flowers with a black gem in the centre.
I'm entering the notebook in the Out of a Hat Creations challenge, I should just about make it in time. The challenge is to make a Christmas Gift or Stocking Filler.
what a lovely stocking filler Hazel. no one in my family would appreciate this kind of thing!

Really like your notebook Hazel. Could be used for journal, diary or notebook for art, anything, very catchy cover. Enjoy your blog.
ReplyDeleteI've always wanted to visit England, Wales, I'm a fan of Rosamunde Pilchur and Maeve Binchy books. My very favorite is still the "Shell Seekers". Are you familiar with those authors?
My maiden name is Scofield, my brother did a search for family and found that way way back we had an ancestor that was some kind of hoity toity big shot in England. Way way back. I've always been fascinated with the history of UK and would love to visit your country. it's also so beautiful.
