Cherry Ripe

I made this card for the Bella Muse challenge on Bella Creations.
We were given the image to use on whatever we wanted, I decided to make a card. The background paper is a freebie from the Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine, I've had it for a long time, knew it would come in useful one day. I attached it to a brown pearl card blank. I put a strip of turquoise card across the middle with a strip of some free paper. Using the same colour card as the card blank I used a Spellbinder die for the border and a Marianne die for the flourish. I stamped some cherries onto white card and coloured them with Promarkers, then I cut them out and double embossed them with some clear embossing powder to make them glossy then I attached them to the card. The sentiment is a sticker from my stash. The last thing I did was to put some sticky backed red gems along the border.

Stamps used.
Personal Impressions for the cherries.

  1. This is a gorgeous card, love the combination of colours. Hugs, Valerie

  2. Oooh Hazel, this is gorgeous xxxx

  3. Hazel this has come together so beautifully. I have the image on file but not made a start yet. Typical, thinking I had plenty of time and yet here we are, 27th of March!!! Where does the time go? Anyway this is gorgeous.

  4. Tried to comment earlier - now blogger is playing nice, at least for now (fingers crossed) so am trying to catch up. Love this card - from the rather cheeky look on her face to wonderful die cuts.
