Happy Valentines Day

Hi everyone, I hope you’re all well and that the start of the year has been good to you.
I’m sorry that I haven’t been around for a while, I have arthritis in my hands and wrists, it flared up before Christmas and has been so painful, I couldn’t do anything and didn’t feel like doing anything and the doctor told me not to do anything. They’re now a lot better than they were and I’ve started doing bits and pieces about the house, my husband has never peeled so many potatoes in his life before.

I managed to get in my craft room yesterday to make a Valentines card, hopefully I’ll be able to do more crafting and start blogging again soon.

I stamped and embossed the hearts on the background and coloured it with distress ink, the large Dina Wakley heart was stamped on card and cut out. I added some sequins.

Thank you for visiting me to take a look, I hope to visit you all soon, have a lovely weekend. xxx

  2. So sorry to hear about your arthritis flare-up. Good to have back-up on the potato peeling though - and good to hear things are a bit better now. Lovely to see you had some playtime to create this gorgeous glowing pink musical heart. I love those white ones hovering in the background too, especially the ones with tiny text. Lovely.

  3. SO sorry to hear you've not been well, Hazel. You have my sincere sympathies because I have similar problems...we just have to create when we can! You're certainly back with a bang! Love your 'scrappy' heart - beautifully designed. It's just good to see you back! Hope your condition improves a bit as the weather does...I know it isn't nice!

  6. So sorry to hear about your arthritis. I know what it's like when your soul craves crafting and your body won't play ball! Hopefully the enforced rest will help and you will have remission. Your card is stunning with that clever balance of pretty but not sickly sweet. Love it xx
