The Art Journal Summer School 2019 started on July 1st, the course is run by Marieke Blokland at the Bloknote Academy
I have the work that I did for lesson one to share with you today.
For the first lesson we were looking at Art Nouveau and had to create a shell pattern. I used acrylic paint, coloured pencils, a white Posca marker and a fine black marker.
We also had to doodle a title page.
Thank you for visiting, have a lovely day. xxx
Wow, Hazel, this is totally fabulous! Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a lot of time and patience, Hazel! The design on the cover is a success, it looks very Art Nouveau to me. xx
ReplyDeleteWow! Both pages look fabulous Hazel!

I adore Art Nouveau and your work is amazing. I love the sketch you did especially. Are you going to colour it in?

Wow! I am in awe of how regular your pattern is. Having tried this myself in watercolour I know how hard it is.
ReplyDeleteWow, Hazel! These are gorgeous, but especially your 'doodled' page. Absolutely love it.
