"They read the long afternoon through, while the cold November rain fell from the sky upon the quiet house".
I used Kaisercraft papers for the background and the house, I used pitt pens to give the house a bit of colour. I dry brushed the rain with a fan brush and blue and white acrylic paint and a PaperArtsy metalic glaze, unfortunately you can't see the metalic glaze from the photo.
I used an Invoke Arts stamp for the house.
Beautiful card, love the quote, and reading is one of my fave things for rainy days! Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteBeautiful (and so true: I´ve been reading for hours today, listening to the rain outside)!
ReplyDeleteThis is fantastic! I love the layers and bold yet subdued colors you used for the house. The overall rain is done well also. Wonderful words.
