These are the deco pages that I made for Cynthia in the KCUK deco swap - the theme of her book is Vintage Travel/Steampunk.
The background was coloured and stamped with Distress ink, the two images were stamped with black Archival ink, I watercoloured the bus and edged the two images with vintage photo. I stamped the car onto shrink plastic and reduced the size with my heat gun. I embellished the page with a charm and staples.
The stamps that I used are.
Stamps Away for the bus.
Katzelkraft for the car.
Stampers Anonymous for the globe.
PaperArtsy for the gears and dots.
I don't know who made the collage stamp.
Again I coloured and stamped the background with Distress inks. I stamped the wall with black Archival. On white card I stamped the man on the bike and masked the man, then I stamped the wall over the image so that it looked like the wall was showing through the wheels. I removed the mask and cut the image out and adhered it to the background matching the two wall images. I added the sentiment, gears and charm.
The stamps I used are.
Katzelkraft for the man on bike, wall and plane.
7 Gypsies for the cogs and butterfly.
PaperArtsy for the dots.
I don't know who made the sentiment.

Nice pages Hazel, Cynthia will love them. Coincidentally I have just finished a couple of pages myself, for Nora.
ReplyDeleteBoth pages are beautiful Hazel! Valerie
ReplyDeleteWonderful pages Hazel it will be a grand and interesting book when it is all finished
ReplyDeleteLove Chrissie xx
The shrink plastic embellishment is a great addition but it is the second deco page that I particularly like, maybe it is the striking image, not so sure. Cynthia will be thrilled.
ReplyDeleteI used to so enjoy participating in the Deco Swaps.

These are wonderful Hazel! I love them both! Lucky Cynthia! xxx
ReplyDeleteThat bus is an absolute delight, and I love the second page - butterflies echoing the aeroplane, and cogs echoing the wheels of the cycling contraption - fabulous!
