The Voice of Art

Last week the Creative Expressions Design Team were sent the wonderful Studio 490/Wendy Vecchi The Voice of Art stamp set to work with, this is my first piece using the stamps.

As well as using the Voice of Art stamps I also used the background stamp from Studio 490 Sentimental Art set.
The background was stamped with victorian velvet Distress ink and edged with vintage photo. A few days ago I was watching Ali from Stamps Away on Create and Craft and she was using coffee to colour card so I thought I would have a go. I sprayed water onto a piece of white card and sprinkled some coffee granules onto it and let it dry naturally, when it was dry I stamped the ledger onto it and coloured the edges with vintage photo. The main image was stamped with black Archival ink and cut out.
I embellished the card with some seam binding that I'd dyed with a victorian velvet distress stain, I added a ribbon slider and some gems.
