Busy Bee

This is my latest DT card for Creative Expressions using the lovely Eco Green Garden Chic stamp set.

I edged a white card blank with forrest moss Distress ink, then I coloured two pieces of card with an old paper Distress ink pad directly to the card. I used peeled paint, forrest moss and shabby shutters Distress stain dabbed onto the background stamp to give the background images a watercolour look. I stamped the lovely little bee and then distressed the edges of the cards and attached them to the card blank and then added a strip of hessian and ribbon. For the small image at the bottom I splatted some shabby shutters Distress Stain onto a piece of white card and stamped the image. I distressed the edges and attached it to the card.
I just remembered that I coloured all the distressed edges with frayed burlap Distress ink.
