Tea and Cake Deco Pages

Hi everybody, I hope you are all well, before I show you my pages I must apologise for my lack of commenting - I've got behind again and hope to catch up at the weekend.

These are the pages that I've made for Anne in the KCUK deco swap - the theme for her book is Tea and Cakes.

This is the tea page. I covered the page with some teacup peel offs before colouring it with picked raspberry and squeezed lemonade Distress ink, then I removed the peel offs. I then stamped the background.
I stamped the main images onto white card and coloured them with Promarkers then I fussy cut them and adhered them to the card and added the sentiment.
The stamps I used are
Character Construction for the main images and background.
Papermania for the sentiment.

This is the cake page. I used the same coloured distress inks for this background and stamped some hearts. I stamped the cakes and coloured them with Promarkers and I also used glitter pens to colour them, I then fussy cut them and adhered them to the card, then I added the sentiments.
The stamps I used are
Personal Impressions for the cakes.
Molly Blooms for the hearts and banner.

  2. Lovely work, good idea using the peel offs as templates! Valerie

  3. Two lovely cards Hazel :) love the lady with the tea pot

  4. I understand that the British are really into unusual hats. Her hat certainly is a winner. I love tea and crumpets. But I have to admit your cakes look more scrumptious than a crumpet! Can't help myself - I like the tea page best of all.

  5. They're both lovely Hazel! xxx

  6. Absolutely love the top one - Sam xxx

  7. Lovely - afternoon tea for me too, please! Gorgeous background on that top one, and I love her teapot hat.
