I used a watercolour paper postcard and used distress ink on the background. The Katzelkraft images were stamped onto tissue paper with black Archival ink, I tore them out and glued them to the card and added the dictionary reference. I used my finger to edge the card with black ink.
Thank you everyone for your good wishes for my husband, we've got to be back at the hospital early today and should get some test results.
Thank you for looking and have a good day.
xxx Hazel.
Hope the hospital news is what you are hoping for. Your postcard is great. I haven't used my Katzelkraft stamps in a long while.
ReplyDeleteHow appropriate to use art as the dictionary word with this delightful image of Mona!

A lovely postcard Hazel. I really like the texture you've got with distress ink using water colour paper.
ReplyDeleteI hope all goes well at the hospital. Barbxx
Fab collage, lots of interesting images, and love the monotone effect.
ReplyDeleteFabulous mix of stamps together, they look great with the dictionary reference xxx
ReplyDeleteWe were thinking along the same lines... I have used different stamps although I have considered buying those Katzelkraft ones on more than one occasion!
ReplyDeleteI love what you have done with this!
ReplyDeleteStunning collage Hazel, love it xx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful piece Hazel, love the stamps you used. Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteI would have been by sooner, but late Tuesday night, thunderstorms knocked my power out. To make matters worse, my internet is having a meltdown, and I have to reboot after nearly every person I visit. I hope by now that your husband's test results were favorable.
ReplyDeleteI almost used that word, but it would NEVER have looked as good as your ART was. And of course, Da Vinci is one of my favorite artists. Although I don't have that stamp, I do have a Vitruvian Man stamp. You did an excellent job and a great page. It is really very well put together, too.
A lovely page definitely with an arty feel. Sending you and your husband love and healing thoughts xx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. Everything seems to fit perfectly :)
ReplyDeleteLove it Hazel, fabulous images! Deb xo
