A Little Message Just For You

I'm not feeling too good at the moment, think I must have caught a bug at Ally Pally at the weekend, so I've made a simple card for the CREATIVE EXPRESSIONS design team this week using the Vintage Typewriter stamp set.
I coloured a piece of white card with tattered rose Distress ink using the direct to paper technique and then went round the edges with victorian velvet. I then stamped the alphabet round the edge and attached it to a black card blank. The typewriter and words were stamped onto white card and after cutting them out I clear embossed the images. For the flower I coloured a book page with worn lipstick and peeled paint Distress stain then using Quickutz dies I cut the flower and leaves out, after attaching them to the card I put a little black gem in the centre of the flower.

  1. Hi Hazel. Sorry to hear you are feeling poorly. Hope you feel better soon. Lovely card. Fab flower. I learnt to type on a machine like this. Could never quite manage to type the "p".
    Sending hugs.

I was saying that you used the stamps to perfection and the little touches you added make this card extra special.
