Can't Show One Without The Other

Here is a photo of my other Working Cocker Spaniel, he's called Josh and he's 6 month old. I think he likes his new playmate but but does tend to play a bit rough.

New Member Of The Family

This is Murphy, he's 8 weeks old and he came to live with us on Saturday. He's a Working Cocker Spaniel and he's soooooo cute. I know my blog is for my artwork but I couldn't resist.

Journal

I enjoyed making this. I covered a couple of 9"x 6"mountboard pieces with green foiled paper and then dabbed gold and bronze Brilliance ink pads on the piece that was going to be the top cover. On top of this I put a piece of Grungeboard that I'd painted with Viva Precious Metal paint. The Crafty Individuals stamp was stamped on to mountboard then triple embossed and edged with pink ink. I made three Grungepaper flowers and coloured them with gold Viva Precious Metal paint and edged them with bronze then put some metal brads in the centre. I added some Grungeboard flourishes and a pinky green ribbon. Unfortunately my photo doesn't show the colours properly.

18th Birthday Card

Last week my friends daughter was 18 and this is the card I made for her. All the stamps used are by Stampotique and all the colouring was done with Glimmer Mist. I matted the stamped image on to Black Magic Card and sanded it so that the colour underneath came through.

Colour ATC

In October the group that I belong to did a Colour swap and this is the ATC that I did. The stamp is a Crafty Individuals one and I coloured it with Dauber Duos.

Caught In Crystal Tag

I framed my caught in crystal piece with a black frame and used teal zircon and nutmeg Radiant Rain dabbers to colour the frame. The tag was coloured with gold Mica Mist and teal zircon Radiant Rain dabber. All the stamps used are by Crafty Individuals.

Another Messy Card

Here is another messy card. For this card I made some Grungepaper flowers, I coloured them with Rose Pink Viva Precious Metal paint, a lovely colour. Again I've used the recycled ribbon.

Messy Challenge

For this challenge we had to use the messy paper that was left after our work was finished. There's not a lot to say about the card except that the ribbon that's threaded through the punched flowers was cut out of a jumper that I bought last week.

Welcome

Welcome to my blog, I've spent so long talking about having one that I can't quite believe that I've been and gone and done it. I hope you enjoy looking at my work.
