Moonlight Drive

Here is my latest CREATIVE EXPRESSIONS DT piece from the Wrinkles Don't Hurt stamp sheet. Murray is taking Ethel out for a romantic drive in the moonlight.
I started of by cutting a heart shape out of some paper and placed it onto the card before inking the background, then I removed the heart and placed the the paper with the heart shaped hole over the background and coloured the heart. I then stamped the branches. The main image was stamped onto card and coloured with Promarkers, then cut out and attached to the card with foam pads. I then decided that it needed an owl and found one that I thought fitted the bill perfectly. I stamped him over the moon and coloured him with Promarkers. The decorated card was then attached to a white card blank that I'd edged with dusty concord Distress ink.

Ingredients.
Stormy sky, faded jeans and dusty concord Distress ink for the background.
Silver Adirondack acrylic paint dabber for the moon.
Creative Expressions Wrinkles Don't Hurt stamps for the main image.
Woodware stamp for the owl.
A mixture of Elusive Images and Inkadinkado stamps for the branches.
